First trip to Hua Hin and the wide beachfront that Hyatt marketed caught my attention. Pleasantly surprised that the property, staff, and overall stay experience was a delight. Hyatt Regency isn't the newest 5-star property around, but much effort has been made to upkeep the facilities and it feels like a resort kept in its golden-age best, with signs of a matured property in the best possible way. Only improvement is likely on the entral air-conditioning in room, which has a musky smell emanating, especially when temperatures are set above 23 degrees. Likely a sign that a major service and flush of the system and filters are due. Staff are great, delivering classic Thai hospitality proudly. Great breakfast spread and so far a good comfortable room. Still barely halfway through my 5 day stay here, but it 's a strong start.
