The property itself is actually quite decent, though it does feel a bit dated in some areas. The staff was very friendly and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated.
That said, the prices for food and drinks are outrageous. It feels like the entire area is overpriced—especially at the airport, where you can easily pay $20 for a single beer or a slice of pizza. And no, that’s not an exaggeration.
One downside is that the facility doesn’t have its own gym or laundry. If you need either, you’ll have to walk over to the resort next door, Playa Grande, to use theirs.
Our first couple of days were peaceful, but then things took a turn. The music at the pool got extremely loud, and the whole vibe shifted into more of a party scene. It lost that calm, classy atmosphere we were hoping for.
