The only complaint I have about this hotel is the bathroom. It was clean, but the shower door did not prevent the water from running all over the floor when taking a shower. It is a potentially dangerous situation. The breakfast was great and the staff, particularly Alex, was very helpful in providing information on where to eat and where to shop. Will recommend this hotel as it is within walking distance to a everything.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. Laura helped us from the moment we arrived . She greeted us at the door and helped us with our luggage.She helped throughout our stay with directions and provided us with s list of recommendations of restaurants from the hotel. All were excellent. We loved the hotel decor.

Fantastic location, people very helpful and friendly. We had room with a balcony. Room was spacious for Europe.

Great location, Spacious room and lovely buffet breakfast!

Room very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. El National was very close we ate there twice, all the shops we wanted with in 4-5 blocks. Subway very close. Loved the hotel, very highly recommend.

Stayed here earlier in the month. Again, the reception is great; so friendly and helpful, and they speak English well. The room was modern, recently renovated, spacious with comfortable beds and a nice shower. There is a nice dining area for breakfast and options for the breakfast were very good. The hotel is centrally located; bus and metro are just around the corner. The Hop On Hop Us buses stopped close by. From this central location we were able to walk to the Sagrada Familia (2.3 km) and down La Rambla and into the Gothic Quarter. Lots of dining options nearby.

The room was clean and large, with lots of storage space. The staff helped us get completely oriented in Barcelona right from the start.

Staff is nice

The mattress was not very firm, a slight movement would cause the whole mattress to move

The housekeeping service was quite disruptive during my stay. Staff started knocking on doors as early as 8 a.m., which made it difficult to rest. There was also frequent loud conversation in the hallway, adding to the noise. Overall, it was hard to get a good night’s sleep due to the early and noisy housekeeping activity.

Staff were very helpful

Just plain excellent. Honourable mention to reception who were so pleasant, helpful, and were quite fluent in English. Centrally located, close to bus lines, metro, sites, hop on hop off buses. Nice rooms with comfortable beds, and good plumbing. Great breakfast facility with more than adequate choices. My wife and I would stay here again (and we will, at the end of our holiday).

Bathroom shower leaked all over the room. I called as soon as I arrived to tell them about the issue. Their solution was to clean it up or more towels. For real? Glad it was only one night, otherwise we would’ve taken all the towels to keep the bedroom dry.

Located in the heart of Barcelona. Walking distance to the sites, restaurants, and entertainment. Comfortable bed, spacious room, and great water pressure shower. Recommended if traveling to Barcelona.
