This was our first time staying here, and it will be the only hotel we stay at in Vancouver from now on. Front desk staff are INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful, they greet you with a glass of wine and lots of smiles. Rooms are a bit small, but it doesn’t matter - the bed was ridiculously comfy, they have high end toiletries, a wonderful shower, and the room even comes supplied with a Dyson hairdryer (!). The restaurant attached offers amazing breakfast, and there are ton of dining options in the immediate vicinity. Also loved the fact that’s it’s literally across the street from Yaletown station, so if you’re taking the skytrain in from the airport, it couldn’t be more convenient. We absolutely loved our stay here.

I am really giving this rating for the restaurant- everything else was fine. The restaurant was way overpriced and the food was not good. Don't be like me- eat in one of the other gazillion restaurants in the neighborhood

Look no further if you’re headed to Vancouver, B.C. Perfectly situated and easy to walk to restaurants, beaches, and the BC Place for a concert, game or event. Rooms are squeaky clean, staff knowledgeable and customer service focused. Love the uniqueness of this hotel - super fun. Great restaurant on main floor with a bartender that will make you the best Manhattan you’ve ever experienced! Valet parking was spot on (keep in mind parking is $55 a night which is stated on the website). We booked this hotel blindly for a concert and week vacation in Vancouver - could not have made a better choice. Clean, quiet and perfectly located. Highly recommend.

I used to stay here when I was younger and it is very nostalgic. Sometimes nostalgia does not carry forward well, but this is not the case for the Opus. Welcoming staff, complimentary rose bubbles, wonderful Opus "scent," and rooms that feel like they have barely aged a day in the last 20 years. While it is impossible to be quiet, located on Davie Street in Yaletown, the noise of the traffic and city become white noise as you sleep on incredibly comfortable beds with soft sheets.

This is a great hotel. Walkable to a bunch of great restaurants and nightlife. For sure go to Hapa Izakaya. Great sushi and great atmosphere! Staff was amazing as well. Also it's a short walk down to the water to take a water taxi to Granville Island. Everyone was super helpful and very nice while we were onsite. Breakfast at Capo was so good! Get one of the Benny's and you will not be disappointed. We will for sure be back!

Came to town for one night to enjoy a day in the city. Very convenient location in terms of public transit options, bar/restaurant locations, and shopping. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean, and I loved the giant soaker tub. Breakfast was a $60 credit at the restaurant. The food was very tasty, although the breakfast options were somewhat limited (menu included pizza and pasta options). Overall, I highly recommend and plan to book again in the fall. My only suggestion - tea (english breakfast, earl grey...) in the room would be a nice option for non coffee drinkers ;)

Love staying at the Opus when I'm in town! Convenient access to Skytrain and close to many hot spots. Great coffee shops and restaurants nearby and the hotel itself is modern, clean, and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. Definitely recommend the Opus.

Amazing hotel. Truly enjoyed the secret garden suite. So close to all things including the waterfront.
