Very lovely place to have fun and enjoy with your loved ones

Very nice time. Very good and tasty food. The floor of the pools need maintenance.

Negatives; Bathroom door was coming off the tiles. ( Safety hazard) Doors not closing or opening properly(closets and bathrooms) Old/oxidized lighting fixtures Very hard to make reservations at restaurants. Always booked to capacity. (Some close certain days of the week) Pool floor needs TLC Customer service is not very welcoming nor do they try to accommodate/explain things better. Have to pay for WiFi Positives: Made rest. Reservation for special request. Snack bar by the pool has good burgers La Perla buffet was great Coliseum shows are fun VIP beach / beds first come first serve HOT showers! Water Gets very hot, very fast. Access to neighbor resort’s (lifestyle was much better than cofresi in my opinion)

The experience was good, but there are a few things that need improvement. The keys provided to guests are terrible—in my case, I had multiple issues with mine. I even had to go back and forth three times because I couldn’t open the door after a long day at the beach. The bad smell in some areas is also horrible. Your experience will vary depending on the type of bracelet you receive. You should also bring some cash, as some of the staff may look at you angrily if you don’t tip. Lastly, I had another really bad experience on my second day. In the morning, my wife and I left the “Make Up Room” card on the door, but when we returned late in the afternoon, we found the card flipped to the “Do Not Disturb” side. That was really upsetting for us. I’m giving it a 6/10 because of the good food and a few great staff members they have. Keep in mind that if you’re American, you’ll probably be treated better.

The room have to much humidity

I had an amazing time at Cofresi Palm Beach Resort! The many pools gave plenty of options to relax and enjoy the sun. The food was delicious with a lot of variety, and the atmosphere throughout the resort was vibrant and welcoming. Perfect spot for a fun and relaxing getaway!

Restaurant workers are the most likely the best

The hotel Cofresí is very old and run down! Rooms are in terrible conditions. Mattress was outrageous how old, dirty and worn down it was and the sheets were paper thin and very old. Loved everything else about the resort, the dining, the staff, the pools all areas very clean and friendly. They need to update that side and it will be the best Puerto Plata has to offer.

The hotel is beautiful but not walkable - stairs go up and down throughout the whole property, and the distance to the beach is too long to walk. Otherwise the food was delicious, the staff are helpful.

Good for the price, foods was good but no too many options. The bathroom shower need to be updated.

Usually enjoy our stay here. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms can be hit and miss, but it seems that something always need attention, such as phones that don’t work, sinks that suddenly start leaking, tubs that don’t work etc. It’s difficult to get around if you have mobility issues, I do not recommend as even with shuttles etc., there’s always stairs to climb! The food in the buffet has improved greatly this year. Unfortunately we have very little luck getting reservations for al la cartes, never seems to be anything available. Not really a fan of the different levels of service I.e. VIP for small things like a coffee shop or ice cream. Overall, a good experience. Will return if the price is right!

This place is horrible. Front desk staff are so rude and disrespectful. The rooms are falling apart.

Room was very outdated very old

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! Our stay at Lifestyle Resort was a complete nightmare from the moment we arrived. The room was flooded, smelled like mildew, and had bugs crawling around. It was dirty, unsafe, and looked like it hadn’t been maintained in years. The food was the worst part. There were no options—just the same bland, barely warm slop every day. Everything tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. We couldn’t even find anything safe or decent to eat. Several of us ended up with food poisoning, and the resort staff was no help at all. On top of that, no one spoke English, so getting help with anything was nearly impossible. The place is nothing like what they advertise online—completely run down, dirty, and sketchy. This place should be avoided at all costs. Total scam.

Angela Hernandez was a helpful person and also treated my family with respect.

Would definitely visit again!
