The property was beautiful, the staff were all outstanding! The executive suite was amazing. I am planing to retried and would highly recommend!

Great place for the price. More upscale then most resorts, jusg checkin can get a little hectic. Awesome place and food is great. Only thing i didnt like was that they don't let uber pick u up from resort only drop off. Thus u must make arrangements with resort whom partners with the taxis making off site travel expensive

Stayed at top floor, great view. Great beachside, accessible but can not swim, waves, dangerous. Multiple restaurants to choose from. Friendly staff. On hillside, really can not walk around, especially when hot. Move mainly with cart ride, sometimes ride wait can be long,10-20 minutes when busy.

Everything was great. The resort is huge! And the staff and amenities are awesome.

Awesome experience as always. This was my 4th time back. I do think the service has gone down hill since the last time I was here. The service was very slow but workers like Samuel at the La Nau, Araceli at the bistro, Jaime and Roberto at the 40 pool and Jose at the Chinese restaurant made are stay very pleasant. Will definitely be back!

Been there several times. Love the property. Service at the market, pool and La nana not quite as stellar this time.

Check-in was a terrible experience, it took about 4 hours and moving to 4 different rooms, one of which ALREADY HAD A FAMILY INSIDE AS I WALKED IN. I booked a Junior Suite for 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 17 and 10). The initial room we were placed in only had one bed, the front desk stated they booked rooms by people and not number of beds. I’m not sure how they expected all 4 of us to sleep in one bed. There was not even a sofa bed and not really any room for a roll-away. They sent us to another Junior Suite with two beds. In this room there was a vent with a constant drip above the toilet, causing the toilet seat to be wet, as well as the floor around it. Not to mention the dripping onto any person that would be sitting on the toilet. The maintenance person was unable to fix it. We were then upgraded to an Executive Suite. As we arrive to now our 3rd room, I open the door to see an array of personal belongings and another party already being settled into the room. As we get back to the front desk, Fernando and the desk supervisor Alan were inconsiderate of everything we had already been through attempting to check-in. They were very reluctant in offering a $100 credit and felt we should be satisfied with the upgrade to the executive suite and be ok with walking in on another family and having to move again to now a 4th room. We asked to speak to the manager which initially Alan stated was not on the premise. After pushing to speak to the manager one suddenly appeared.

Gorgeous property with multiple excellent food and drinks. Staff always willing to help out with any thing you need. Great pools with options if you’re interested in a quieter area as well. Awesome views.

Well where do we start….. property is nice there’s not much to do and you can not access any of the beach all you can do is be in the pool or shuttle to a sister resort to get beach access… the problem was that it was a family trip and they couldn’t get room assignments right for the life of them for my sisters which in return ruined all of our plans. First the booked party of 4 and party of 3 in a one bed room when they requested 2 beds at booking. Ok no biggie they called to resolve it after 2hrs of waiting they finally give them another room. One room was fine the second however was leaking from the ceiling

We went on a family vacation (party of 9) and reserved 3 different rooms. Upon arriving and going to our rooms we discovered the rooms were not going to accommodate all guests. Each room had a single bed for a party of 3 or 4. To make a long story short the resort had to assign us all 3 different rooms, took over 4 hours to finally get a room and keys. They either had us waiting for a room, keys or a shuttle to take us to another room. We literally packed and unpacked 4 different times in a span of 4 -5 hours. The rooms were either too small for all in our party; the other room had a leak over the bathroom toilet from the upstairs unit. Water landing on our head as we used the restroom; when issued a third set of keys we walked into a room that was occupied by another family who was in the middle of dinner when we unlocked the door and walked in on them. If being assigned 4 different rooms was not enough, rooms with issues to make matters worse reception staff were beyond rude, disrespectful, and discourteous to us. Indicating they did not have to accommodate us and we should be thankful. When asked to speak to a manager Alan indicated he was the manager, then said none available and then threatened to “kick” us out. Told us be thankful for the room we had. They did not care we lost 5-6 hours trying to get an acceptable room for our vacation. Worst experience ever! Words can not describe our disappointment.

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is beautiful! I did a lot of research prior to booking and looked at many properties. I was leaning towards booking PB Rosè since the beach is swimmable. Upon further research, I decided to stay at Sunset Beach due to more fining options and more pools and resort amenities. I am so glad that i made the right choice. The property is stunning with many levels since it is situated on a hill. We stayed at a 1 bedroom suite and it has beautiful ocean view! Food was delicious with so many varieties especially at the Market. Staff were friendly. We took the free shuttle to Rosè to swim at the beach. Rosè is crowded and small. Location is not desirable as well. I will be back to Sunset Beach next year and will stay at the 3 bedroom Monte Cristo. Highly recommend Sunset Beach! You will not regret it especially if you’re traveling with a family.
