Really enjoyed the room. Size made it feel less cramped and more like sitting in your own home. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Had good choices. Whole experience was good. Only down side was the smell around the jacuzzi. It had a bathroom order.

Good view

Great view but sea lions were loud even at night

Loved our stay, the staff were all very nice, clean room, and continental breakfast brought to your room!!! Building is a little “tired” and could use a little update, otherwise lovely place!

Unique. decor, wonderful staff

My son and I stayed the night during his spring break and it was so nice. We had an ocean view and it was so peaceful and close to everything within walking distance

Location was perfectly situated between Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf. Staff was welcoming and helpful in suggestions for around town. Room with an Ocean view was more than a view - it hovered over the water and the crashing waves were soothing! We will definitely be back!

Excellent location with amazing ocean views! Loved hearing and seeing the barking seals and sea lions. Lots of otters as well. Room was extremely clean with a very comfortable well made bed and pillows. Beautiful spacious bathroom. Both hot tubs and fire pit are nice amenities. Front desk staff and housekeeping were so nice and friendly. Couldn’t ask for better, they do their job well. Breakfast was perfect. Whale watching, Fisherman’s wharf, Cannery Row and driving distance to some other cool towns. Loved my recent stay and hope to be back again someday.

This stay was way too short. It is beautifully centered near the wharf and the downtown, so it is a beautiful scenic walk.

Great views

This location is in the middle of everything. We walked to Cannery Row, walked to Fishermans Wharf, both easy to do. Get a high room, harbor side, its beautiful. Love the breakfast delivered right to the room.

Perfect everything.

We stayed at Monterey Bay Inn for 4 nights and never had a problem. Hotel was clean and close to the marina, restaurants, and shops. The room was spacious and the bed was firm (that is the way we like it). Breakfast was brought to the room every morning (muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit). We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching all the wildlife. We would definitely stay here again.

Check in was a breeze the concierge told us about the best places to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner. The in room complimentary breakfast is unbeatable for it having it in the comfort of the room.

Excellent view

Service here is beyond fantastic! Very pleasant, super helpful and very accommodating. But the hotel itself is an absolute mess! For $900 we had a room with no ac, the screen door was broken and had holes in it. very thin walls and ceiling to the point where we could here every step the guest above us made, for the last two nights. Constant noises and movements, bed was hard but still better than some we’ve slept in. Stain on the wall, cracks in the ceiling in the restroom and the shower as well as the side of the bed. Water from the shower kept finding its way on the floor no matter how closed we put the curtain. Blow dryer looked like it was pulled out of the trash. No hand soap in the room, no ventilation in the bathroom. Room smelled musky. Highlight was the room came with binoculars to see the sealife. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Monterey or Cannery row for that matter. Pay the extra money and get a better room somewhere else.
