All good, a lot of shopping around

The staff were warm and welcoming, and the location was great. Close to town and right by the train station.

Cute, cozy, and clean. Thoroughly updated with a more modern feel without losing its character. Less than a stone's throw away from the subway line to campus (north) or Munich (south). Very good breakfast, something for everyone. Heartily recommend.

The hotel is beautiful and updated to show the old German charm but with luxury. The breakfast buffet was our favourite on the trip! Also kids eat for free!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean- i felt comfortable letting my baby crawl around and pull up on the furniture. Location is great, ubahn was right there. Only issues were the parking garage ... very unique set up that was difficult with a baby. Then, getting to the hotel... there probably was a way to walk around and not go up a step, but i didn't see it.

The room is a large size for the price and the extras are greatly appreciated!

Hotel staff is highly cooperative and caring. Monika and other youngsters were highly cooperative. One of the youngster (sorry I don't remember the name) used to guide us for different tours around the city and translated everything in English. Breakfast was excellent.

I stayed for 1 night only and made the mistake of not reading other people’s reviews and also checking the box for air conditioner. I gave this property 2 stars because of how old the property looked and the lack of air conditioner. Especially during summer, I would NOT recommend this hotel. The room was extremely hot when I checked in. They did have 1 small fan in the room, which was not sufficient. I left the window opened at night to cool it down, but some bugs started flying in. Overall, this hotel was NOT worth the amount I paid for 1 night.

Hotel located 20 min by car from Munich center, with limited parking and reasonable rooms

Lovely staff, good breakfast, green option for free drink or bike hire instead of cleaning room is nice, great location right above the undrground & right in the middle of many good restaurants. Only negatives (small ones); Slight smell in one of the rooms i had & no air conditioning plus twin rooms not doubles All in all a nice stay.

Hotel König Ludwig II was amazing! Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Great location. Highly recommend!

I loved the area and the actual hotel but I didn’t like that there was no aircon and during the night it was pretty hot

This hotel was recently renovated in a tasteful manner. It is very clean and has the most comfortable, luxurious beds I experienced on my travels through Germany and Austria. The area isn't touristy at all and that is a nice break from Munich. It is very easy to get to Munich via the underground. Additionally, there are a few restaurants and a grocery adjacent to the hotel. The gelato nearby is excellent! This is a great spot if you are heading to the Munich airport the next morning -- it took us only 15 minutes to drive there from the hotel.

Excellent location for Allianz Arena and superb hotel with great breakfast as well.

Great hotel and very friendly staff. Very conveniently located near the train station. I am vegan and they made sure that I always had a nice cooked breakfast. Thank you!
