Five stars for the staff. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The building needs lots of repairs. The rooms are damp and smells like mildew. The counters, table top and bedside table were sticky. The carpet is filthy and sticky. We were advised on check in that room cleaning is every other day and that did not occur. Garbage and laundry from most of the rooms would build up in the halls. The breakfast options are limited and what is available is of poor quality. The hot food is cold and often still frozen in the centre. There was never any spoons available and cups were in limited supply often running out and forcing people to be drinking out if the waffle measuring cups. For a city that is heavily dependent on tourism this not what is expected given the price.

The walls were very thin. I heard my neighbors all evening and also when they got up at 5am packing to check out. Both front desk ladies were not very friendly. The housekeeper was very friendly though.

It was an ok stay but there was no phone in my room, no air conditioning, no screen in the window. I asked to have my room cleaned but they forgot so did it the next day and I almost slipped in the tub

I like the location but I wouldn’t mind if you had a half day policy. Expensive to pay full rate for a half day. Thank you

Excellent location Very friendly staff

In Yellowknife there is Old Town, Downtown and Uptown, Super 8 is Uptown. Staff Friendly, Breakfast basic but good. Ameneties like restaurants, coffee shop, Walmart, Hospital and Tim Hortons nearby. A bit outdated, but then....so am I.

The internet was unstable and needed re-application sometimes more than once daily. It was not secure so airline check-in (paying for bags, for example) could not be completed.
