Clean rooms, friendly staff

The staff were very attentive and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast menu.

Tim Hortons inntnensame parking lot, Walmart and marks. It's close to everything you need.

In Yellowknife there is Old Town, Downtown and Uptown, Super 8 is Uptown. Staff Friendly, Breakfast basic but good. Ameneties like restaurants, coffee shop, Walmart, Hospital and Tim Hortons nearby. A bit outdated, but then....so am I.

The internet was unstable and needed re-application sometimes more than once daily. It was not secure so airline check-in (paying for bags, for example) could not be completed.

Great place! Next time I’m in Yellowknife I’m staying there for sure!

The property is quite old and feels run down. They have continental brekfast with very limited items. Boiled eggs, baked beans, white bread, white bagel, 3 generic cereals from a generic container, quick oats in packets, cofffee from an automatic machine, waffle iron for fresh waffles with juices. In general boiled eggs are in a crockpot in water, tends to be colder than it should be, coffee is nto that great. The girl working there is very nice and friendly and helpful. They need training in keeping the eggs warm, one day we had egg beaten and fried vs boilded. However, there ois a Tim Hortons right at the door steps so if you dont like the food, you have a chocie. There is a Walmart about 5 to 7 minutes away walking distance. Some restaurants and options are walkable. Taxis are quick aroound the neighbourhood, I didn't wait more than 2 minutes for the City Cab Ltd Cabs. Location is also far from most business and government offices for meetings so it is a minimum 10 minute cab ride to the core area.

Stayed for 1 night. My room didnt have heat and was really cold. Thermostat is broken. Staff did provide a small heater. But for $300+/night, not worth it.

Breakfast room was too crowded and the time must be extended as most guests stays up late for Aurora hunting...
