Nice hotel. Very modern and very big. Glad we visited before it got really busy. It was part of a tour so we hadn't chosen this hotel personally. We were surprised that it was 4km outside of Dubrovnik. There is no shuttle bus but a public transport bus stop across the road from the hotel which takes you through Dubrovnik and up to the Old Town. Food was very good. Buffet style. Lots of choice.

The waitresses Katerina and Dragana provided outstanding service, making sure everything was perfect and that we felt welcome. Great atmosphere, great service, and a wonderful overall experience. Rooms are very dated. Mini fridge appeared to be broken as all items were very warm. The shower was horrible! Tiny shower head that constantly turns toward the wall with uneven water pressure and constant temperature fluctuations between extremely hot and cold. Blow dryer in room was broken and needed replacing. The doors would not close without force. Sound in the hallways and other rooms carried into ours. Only one working elevator for a giant hotel. Also felt misled about the beach access. You have to travel to their sister hotel to use the beach, and you have to pay a fee for access to the lounger, towels, etc. Overall, a really disappointing stay and certainly not a 4 star hotel. I also want to point out that the area lacks sidewalks. This isn't the hotel's fault, but it felt unsafe walking on the winding roads without sidewalks.

Rooms a bit outdated but clean and spacious. Our room didn’t have a balcony, or view, but not a major issue. Hotel is perfect for a mix of summer holidaying and city breaking. Bus stop across the road to get into Dubrovnik. Walking distance to Lapad along the promenade (not suitable for the less mobile to climb down the stairs). Plenty shops/restaurants nearby, within a five minute walk, if not wanting to walk to Lapad/bus to Dubrovnik. Indoor pool/spa facilities are excellent. The breakfast is the best breakfast my partner and I have ever had. Incredible selection. Gluten free, dairy free. Everything you would need.

Our holiday was memorable and all the hotel ensured our stay was just that! With a birthday and wedding anniversary to celebrate the moment I restaurant provided exquisite food, excellent service and breathtaking views when dining outside! The restaurant team led by Zoran was first class and his team, Acer, Tomaslav and Debranka delivered wonderful service. We will return and highly recommend Lacroma hotel Dubrovnik to all travellers
