The first room we were given was not cleaned from previous guest. We went back to front desk where it took 20 minutes to locate us another room. We said we would take any room, but the clerk said because we booked on Orbitz she could only giver us the same type of room we had booked. At 11:30 at night we did not appreciate the extra half hour delay in getting to sleep.

2 nights, unexpected 10$ per day “parking”fee. Otherwise coffee and breakfast good. All good.

Overall it was okay. I wish it had a pool but that was my fault for not checking. The breakfast was good and it was clean but the staff wasn’t the most friendly. They were also having problems with the locks on all the rooms and we had to wait for someone to let us in every time we went back to the room. A nice location next to the Congaree River with a nice historical park.

Super clean great room and decor all up to date and the breakfast is phenomenal.

Everything was as advertised, definitely will be staying again.

It took 15 minutes to check in because Cherelle (the front desk attendant) was supposedly on the phone with the owner. This behavior was very unprofessional. She did not apologize. To add matters worse, the hotel charged for parking.

Hard to navigate to. Requires making u turns on a heavy traffic road

The hotel itself was good. In the room the bathroom wasn't that clean. There was hair in the shower on the walls and a piece of hair stuck in the shower door, which is still there! The sink had hair on it and the water pressure isnt great. We had to buy our own cleaner to clean the bathrrom before using it. The water runs very low in the sink. Other then that its ok!!

Found a live roach in the room, as well as hair stuck to the shower tub wall that was definitely not mine. Shower floor was dirty and slimy.

I enjoy the property and front desk assistance.

Overall great place to stay that is in a safe area and conveniently located to Riverbank zoo and downtown Columbia. Will definitely stay again!

Clean & quiet

Stayed one night it was great! I gave the area a 4 because we didn’t really explore that area as we were there to tour USC
