Great location for a getaway out of the city center, but transportation is an issue for tourists, and food choices are non-existent. The hotel serves the same food the entire week. When booking Expedia wrongly mentioned it was close to the city center

What a special place! I had an incredible stay. The staff (especially Mohammad in the reception) was SO helpful. There are beautiful trails, scenery, and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend staying here.

Decent stay. Wonderful hosts. Older building but quaint.

This hotel is luxurious, with heavenly beds and spacious rooms (I booked double room). Service is great. The only negative was that when there was a big group at hotel, full breakfast buffet was served, whereas on quiet days, a smaller version of buffet was served. There were no vegetarian options either. Also, the swimming pool was shut (for maintenance, I believe). There is a gym and hot tub which I hope to use next time. I would revisit when I may dare to ask staff about vegetarian options.

Had a pretty good stay. Rooms were alright, good beds and good size room. Bathroom could use a refurbish but it was ok. Breakfast was good.

Not bad overall

Location is beautiful and lobby area looks nice. However rooms are rather old and not really maintained. Covers on the bed are dirty. Service was disappointing given the fact that the hotel was almost empty. Swimming pool - they claim that the water is 28 degrees. Hard for me to judge it but the water were freezing ( I doubt if it was actually 28). Playroom- really messy and full of old and broken toys. To summarize - this place has huge potential but very little soul. I doubt if we will visit this hotel again as a family. P.S if you cares about your coffee, do not touch their coffee machines. It is really bad coffee.

Always nice to stay up on Holmenkollen. Hotel as nice as ever. Good for those with their own transport. Strangely, one of my favourite things is the small tree with lichen all over it; in the courtyard.

Lovely views over Oslo in clead skies location remote but i liked that train to city just 10 mins walk get into city in 35 mins hotel room lovely but very much built for conferencing bar in reception bit odd as not busy other bars closed so only place other than restarant to sit nit bad overall though

Room ameneties very poor for a 4 star hotel. Staff were not the most enthusisatic to help. The false alarm for the fire alarm was confusing and extremely obtrusive. There was no instructions on how to contact the reception anywhere in the room. Overall a very unpleasant stay.

The hotel is in a great location providing stunning views of the city of Oslo and it’s fjords. The hotels staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is very good and apparently the pool is amazing.
