The first room was so dirty not fit to be in. They did give us another room. It was a bit better than the first one. We were there 3 nights so after the 1st night we told then not to clean so i guess they decided not to do it at all. We had to ask for a bag to get rid of our garbage. Never would we stay or recommend a Super 8 again

It was a little run down

Although the hotel is an old building it was clean and the staff at front desk were friendly. Unfortunately the room we had was supposedly a non smoking room, however, upon entering the room we were hit with the smell of cigarette smoke. It was very strong. We mentioned it to front desk & they acted surprised. They came to room & used a bathroom spray to try to mask the smell. As non smokers the smell of cigarettes is something you can’t mask.

It would have been a decent stay but had other customers were loud and sound like they were in the hallway talking very loud, and down the hall someone had their dog in the hallways barking , doors don't offer much of a sound barrier beds were great as were the pillows

When I arrived at front desk the clerk was doing a shift change and explaining details to evening clerk. It took the clerk 30 seconds before she looked up and told me, without any "hello" or "welcome to Super 8 Cambridge," or even basic courteous eye contact, that I would have to wait while they did this. So I stood there for a few minutes. When I got into my room it smelled like disinfectant. The room was cool and the heater did not work. I asked the maintenance guy to have a look. He determined that it wasn't working. So I had to move to the next room over. The heater was working there, and the room didn't smell like disinfectant. It was clean enough, no bugs or anything. The taps in the bathroom sink squeak like rusty screws in wood. And the toilet paper fixture is rusting pretty badly. I wouldn't mention this if I were using a washroom in a backroads gas station, but for a hotel, it's pretty gross. The maintenance guy was pleasant and helpful, even with his swearing. The continental breakfast was average. This area was kept very clean and well stocked by the staff taking care of it. The front desk daytime clerk could take a lesson from other staff in the hotel about being more courteous with clients.

The Manager ( Shawna) exceptionally good and professional as well as the staff very helpful and that made our experience pleasant The building or most part of it can benefit from some upgrades

Made the reservation on Expedia and the room didnt have a hot tub like the site said. They ripped out all hot tubs months ago. Expedia needs to update their info. The room was dirty. Peanut butter on the peepholes on the doors. The bathtub was clogged and dirty. Place is very run down and needs a lot of fixing.

Very dirty property incl old rooms. But their dining area restaurant was amazing. 5/5. We did not expect that at all.they had halal options too for muslim

Dirty sock and broken glass in hall whole time I was there. Front desk person was way more interested in her side business on the phone then checking me in, couldn’t take one sec and say “I will be right with you”. Will never go back.

Full time homeless people stay here. Possible drug users. Heard people yelling and making noise in the lobby and hallways.

Noisy. Like people were living there or something? Also there were sooo many dogs, not even small dogs.. like pit bulls where one almost tried to lunge at me when I was passing by. Thank goodness for the owner who had a great handle on their dog. The first floor was so loud could barely sleep. Lots of foot traffic. (Doesn’t help that there’s a bar attached to the lobby) The second floor didn’t have as many people but the dogs barking and the children screaming til like 1 am was really annoying. Also it reeked of cigarette smoke. I had to change rooms after the first night because I asked for a non-smoking room but it definitely smelled like someone had been smoking in there. The second room upstairs was better. To be honest the whole building smelled like it. The only positive thing was the customer service! And they understood my NEED to change rooms and gave me no problems with that. I will definitely not be returning, but I commend the employees for their great customer service.
