For a 3 star hotel its pretty nice and affordable. A few nitpicks I’ll explain tho. 1. The windows don’t have screens so don’t leave them open at night (got attacked by mosquitoes) use the fan in the closet. 2. Coffee machine in the bedroom was very dirty on the inside. Did not use it. 3. Very hot in the room Other than that it was a good stay, breakfast is nice, lounge area is beautiful and even wine and snacks is a great idea.

We stayed four nights and had a spacious room with a fireplace. The building and decorations were a bit dated but the bed was very comfortable and the location was excellent. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Ultra stylish hotel in an extremely convenient location with friendly staff, lots of amenities and amazing water pressure in the shower! Thanks for an amazing experience!

It’s an old building that’s quirky and cute and the room was spacious and clean. We had a deluxe king room and the mattress was super lumpy and uncomfortable, tossed and turned all night. TV cable was not working and front desk guy was way too chatty, like can’t walk away chatty. Overall for the price it was fine but would recommend elsewhere if you can afford a little higher price point.

The fireplace turned on by a switch on the wall right next to the bed. Enough said. The building is old. Don’t stay here is you are looking for modern. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The pastries were warmed to crispness in the oven before being served. The boiled eggs were still warm. Nice selection of teas.

Lovely, unique hotel offering comfort in down town San Francisco. Great location close to restaurants. Nice breakfast. Quiet and clean.

It was a nice, vintage hotel with breakfast and wine each day. Convenient enough to all the things we wanted. Great staff.

Nice stay, good location. Had a nice conversation with the person who brought us wine and cheese about the hotel and music. Room was nice. No air conditioning which was not a problem this visit but might be on those rare days it gets hot.

Comfortable, cool and funky - a perfect stay!

Great hotel. A very nice complimentary breakfast. Delicious coffee, nice wine, and appetizers, happy hour. Wonderful staff. We walked to Oracle Park for the Giants' game. It was about a mile each way.

This is truly a hidden gem in SF. It felt more like home away from home, instead of a hotel. The wine and cheese and breakfast were both wonderful, but the fireplace in the room was the best touch. I will definitely rebook!

Very quaint place to stay, like you never left home. I would highly recommend staying here.

Dinner recommendations were superb. We enjoyed the old books, the space of the room and romantic ambiance of the fireplace. We had a wonderful stay and would like to be back again in the future.
