Nicely refurbished property convenient to good local steak houses, wineries, casino, and PCPA theater in both Santa Maria and Solvang. Wishing PeaSoupAndersons was open but this was a good place to stay at a reasonable price. Room was spacious, bathroom refurbished but small. All good and we would stay there again .

Nice inn that is clean and relatively quiet. Close to multiple tourist areas so made visiting places easy.

Overall a nice hotel. Not much of a breakfast, only one danish per guest the some juice and coffee. The room was decent, showing some age and a little run down, but still nice. Bed was good, a little firm, but not too firm. AC worked. Gas station right next store for quick snacks

The house cleaning staff knocked on the door so softly I didn't hear it and then they opened the door very abruptly. I did not appreciate that.

Honestly I am SO shocked this place has excellent reviews on Expedia and Google Maps. This is a MOTEL- NOT AN INN. I repeat- this is not an inn! I’ve been to real, cute inns that are clean. This place has broken toilets, hard beds, and a staff that will try to upcharge you for not booking directly with them. The photos advertising this place look good and cute but it is not!!! It’s a run down motel. The amenities are not kept up and the pool looks like a jail. I don’t know if this motel paid people to leave reviews or what but do not stay here at all!!!

I really enjoyed the hotel. It was clean and family friendly. The pool was big and the kids had lots of fun. Breakfast was small but tasty danish. Location was right off of the freeway. Will definitely comeback

I’m so glad that I found this cute little Inn. It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Santa Ynez, Santa Barbara, Buellton wineries, or the surrounding area. We enjoyed the pool, putting area, and the fire pit. We had my husbands extended family visiting from NY, and I booked 3 rooms on the ground floor. I love that you can walk out through thru the sliding doors into the courtyard. How convenient!! It beats all the big name hotels in Santa Barbara in terms of amenities, price, and location. We also took advantage of EV charging station (5 min walk from the Inn!). The staff is very attentive and kind. Highly recommend it!!

I recently stayed at Pea Soup Andersen’s Inn with a few close friends, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with friendly smiles and a charming, nostalgic atmosphere that felt like a step back in time—in the best possible way. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-kept, with all the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the peaceful courtyard area, where we could sit and chat over coffee in the mornings or unwind in the evening. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus—clean and well-maintained, perfect for some fun downtime with friends. One of the best parts of the stay was, of course, being just a short stroll away from the iconic Pea Soup Andersen’s Restaurant. We couldn’t resist trying the famous split pea soup (a must!), and the food and service there were excellent. The location of the inn made it easy to explore nearby Solvang, Buellton, and the surrounding wine country, which added so much variety to our trip. Whether we were relaxing at the inn or heading out for an adventure, everything felt easy and enjoyable. Overall, Pea Soup Andersen’s Inn is a hidden gem with great value, old-fashioned charm, and all the modern comforts. I’d gladly return and recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and relaxing getaway—especially with good friends by your side.

Great option for staying in Solvang. The property across the street was recently remodeled. The Pea Soup Anderson’s abandoned restaurant is kinda creepy looking. But, this is a nice option for a cheap price.
