Great for the price. Very satisfied

It was very clean and the outside looked recently painted. There were several beautiful hanging baskets outside.

Loved the sauna! Very clean and quiet during my stay. Best value in the area by far.

An older building, they did a good job freshening up and room was clean, but some work to be done in maintenance of rooms. Hot tub and pool hours were great. Parking was pretty narrow. Desk staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Magnuson Hotel while we were in the Keweenaw exploring the area. It was a fun hotel in the downtown area that was convenient. Room was nice and clean although it did have a bit of a musty smell but, we just opened the window to let it air out a bit. In all fairness, I have a "super smeller" - my husband said he couldn't smell anything. Great hotel for the price and will totally try to stay here again when we come back to the area. Staff was friendly, pool and spa were a nice perk and the breakfast was adequate.

Although the information in the hotels.com listing is not accurate as far as outside accessing rooms, we were perfectly happy with our room. There may need to be some updates with the listing on this site so people can see that there is no elevator and only stairs to get to second floor. Again, this was not an issue for myself or my husband, but many may have mobility issues and need first floor only! The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and we were happy with our accommodation. Also, the young woman who checked us in deserves recognition for putting up with some extremely rude individuals.

Great price and location

The room was clean and comfortable. There aren’t a lot of modern amenities such as charging stations for your phone. That’s just a small inconvenience. It’s in a remote area so there aren’t a lot of dining or shopping options. Staff was very nice, pool and hot tub were nice and warm

Property is a little older but was kept clean. Staff were all great and friendly.
