Staff is just ok at the front desk. Not much engagement! Then I just asked this am today if I could get a credit to leave a day early as had already paid and the guy was so direct on a NO. I did not ask on a refund and he took it that way. Did not listen to me much. I asked on a future credit. NO point to ever argue on things and just review instead. The housekeeping are excellent and so was the young gal at breakfast. Very nice. The breakfast was weak though with just not so appetizing looking sausages and never am a fan of high calorie sausages! Eggs looked microwaved! I did not have. I never eat sausage as I like to be a bit healthy. It is for heavier ppl or ppl who care zero on their diet. (WHY can't so many hotels just have the better for you bacon and which is same cost and tastes way better and is way less in calories!??) My tv had no sports channels and I did not want to have a whole night not able to watch sports. One of the reasons I wanted to leave early. I also thought there was a hot tub there as listed and taken out. The hotel is really aging and getting pretty dirty looking. My room though was clean. Cannot say I will be returning here, would you? I even was charged 10 a day for parking and am sure they charged me for that too on day two today and I left before 10 am.

To like? Not much, other than that the staff was very friendly and the front desk area is beautiful and renovated; however the renos to the rooms seem limited to the bathroom and floors. The yellowish nicotine stained drapes smelled of years of smoke. The TV credenza was falling apart, the headboards and other furniture items we old and scratched up. The mattresses were poor quality as you could feel the springs on your back. The grounds at the entrance were unkept as was the neighborhood. Overall not a great experience.

We have been stayed there for one week. Very good room cleaning service. All staffs are nice and lots restaurants walking to reach, very convenient

Bed made and towels replaced daily was very nice. It was quiet, the air conditioner worked well and the blackout curtains ensured we didn’t wake up at 6 when it got bright outside. We had vouchers for a hot breakfast which was very good. We used the laundry facilities and that worked well too. The floor in our room must be on a slight slant as the drawers in the chest kept opening. I had to ask for a hair dryer.

This was the most expensive hotel during a week-long roadtrip from Vancouver to Calgary and by far the most disappointing. Rooms are clean enough and staff is friendly, but for the price (and the Best Western brand!) we expected more. The tub in one of our rooms wasn't draining well and the Nespresso machine didn't work. Rooms are outdated (though we noticed some rooms are being renovated) and especially the bathrooms are a little dingy. Toiletries are available but we had to ask for some items at the front desk as one of the rooms only had conditioners. Breakfast is included and it offers the basics (eggs, cereal, coffee, toast) but quality could be improved.

Clean and Friendly staff

Rooms were spacious, lobby was clean and inviting. Staff were courteous and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a great selection of hot and cold items. I'd stay again if in the area. Sadly, the pool, however inviting it looked, was not open for use. Possibly just time of year.

Staff at the breakfast were not very friendly and I do not like having to submit a voucher before eating. This was a first to me. Rooms did not have a microwave and I had to request one. Check in staff were great though.

The property was being renovated so there were not a lot of room choices and the surroundings were unkept

Had to pay 13.00 for daily parking. Pool was closed. Taxed for everything

Property location is convenient. However, staffs not very helpful. When we requested for luggage storage cause I had a late flight on the check out day, hotel staff replied a big group is coming and no secure space for us to store our luggage, finally our luggage were placed at a public area at the hotel lobby.

Great location, clean and spacious rooms. Bed was very comfortable

Great location. Hotel is just a 12 min walk from royal oal train station and 17min walk to Metropolis Mall. We got an early check in which was highly appreciated. Breakfast was good, would have been nicer if there could be some variety in breakfast. The only thing they can improve is to have a compost bin in the breakfast area rather than everything going into the trash bin. Rooms have thin walls, we could hear staff vacuuming the floor upstairs and our for next door neighbors, we could hear everything.

Convenient for a short stay

Bed was very comfy. No rugs in room, no heavy perfumes. Good for people with allergies.
