Breakfast, room

The staff were friendly. The room was fine although the stairs and different levels are a problem from travellers with impaired mobility. The cooked breakfast was very good.

A very good hotel, We had an overnight stay in a spacious , comfortable double room. Toiletries and towels provided were of good quality. Evening menu was very good value . Pleasant bar area. An excellent choice was provided for breakfast. Spacious car parking. Very good location , close to town centre. Overall The Cumbria Park Hotel was great value. Would recommend

Hotel was great value for the money paid , room was clean and cosy , staff were helpful and the breakfast was fantastic . Only negative was the tv didn’t work properly in the room

Mediocre hotel - its okay, just ok. Ice cold shower. Limited breakfast options but nice enough. Really noisy doors on rooms that clunk with deafening bang - they need soft close. No power point beside bed. Wifi very slow. Overral not great, but better than some.

The hotel was okay overall, but I felt it was a bit overpriced compared to the quality offered. The car park is very small, so be careful if you are arriving in an SUV as the spaces are quite tight. On the positive side, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

This is a fab hotel, under new ownership but so far looks as good as ever

We stayed for 4 nights to use Carlisle as a base for the many train journeys possible from there. It did not disappoint. The hotel was excellent with good breakfasts and excellent evening meals . Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms large and clean, although haven’t had a Triton shower for many a year!!! Would thoroughly recommend this hotel

Cracking staff from check in to checkout, well located and good breakfast cheerful & helpful. Hotel a little dated but staff made up for that.

Good stay overall. Parking was safe for motorcycle and room was fine. Breakfast was really good and staff in dining area were top notch.

Nice place to stay- well located. Staff were great. Check-in / out no issues. Bar person / waiter was very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to assist with meal choices etc. Room was well appointed. Loads of parking. Would stay here again.

The hotel was charming, the room an adequate size, bed was comfortable, the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Wi-fi worked well and there was free parking. The restaurant dinner meal was beautiful and breakfast very generous. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved everything about it, not a modern hotel but had lots of character. Staff were lovely and restaurant food is excellent. Breakfast was also excellent! Would definitely go again.
