Hotel Britannia Esbjerg staff are excellent, polite friendly helpful and attentive, spotless Hotel and surrounding area, breakfast and all food was excellent at the Hotel. Wonderful surroundings good bars and restaurants. Plenty of history to discover. Fano Island across on a short ferry trip is a lovely place to visit .

Staff were friendly, professional & helpful. Hotel is charming and right by the historic town square. Breakfast buffet and seating area are excellent.

The photos and rating do not do this property justice. Gorgeous room and hotel, food was delicious, staff were exceptional. Location is perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Esbjerg.

Great location and very friendly staff

As we are both elderly we like a bit of service for the room. We were told by the receptionist that they are an environmental hotel so we do not clean or hand out towels. You can ask for towels when you think you need them. These are all 4 star hotels so I am disappointed that there is such a lack of service. The hotel is very centrally located so that is a plus but we would not stay there again.

Lovely hotel. Room was beautiful - and very roomy for a single. Restaurant exceptional - had the best meal of my holiday there (stuffed morel mushrooms)

Room fine. No air conditioning or fan. At times it was too noisy to leave window open and the room was hot. Not a bath as such ( too short) but it has the shower as it’s over the ‘ bath’. Breakfast is fine albeit a bit limited in my opinion. The only elevator is a bit temperamental. Nice enough hotel, just a few alterations would make it better in my opinion.

Room was a little too warm overnight.

The kitchen closed very early, and the elevator did not work. The gym was a plus.

I booked for the 3rd year here reasonably ok before, Hotels com sed there was a gold exclusive upgrade , and for the 3rd year there wasnt. When i got there they sed we should have called, once again wasnt told that. We were put in a small room a very noisy room at the back of the hotel. The air con didnt work right ,warm and uncomfortable , The woman at reception sed we couldnt change rooms as we had hung our clothes up and sat on the bed. So it would need cleaning. £135 a night we paid. We didnt know you had to go to reception and request a room clean. Once again not told the info. So we had no towels etc for 2 days. There wasnt anywere to put your night wear or underwear , no draws . A small line and 5 coat hangers only. For the amount charged i would have expected more. Breakfast barely edible, no toasters, and nearly cold. We were the 1st in at 7am and it was barely warm then.

The people were really nice and helpful. Took longer to get there than planned so didn’t see much. Not much of tourist town. Has white men and sea shore A museum got in to late to see.
