The atmosphere of the hotel was beautiful, staff are so welcoming and friendly. They were knowledgeable and helpful in offering us suggestions of sites to see and places to eat. They had umbrellas, hair dryer, iron and ironing board which one needs on holiday. Having a mini fridge in the room was great so we could have additional drinks we could keep cold. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Frankenthal.

Very aged and needs some TLC and updating. Rooms look old, carpet stained. No fridge. No coffee in morning. Person in restaurant said you must buy the 22Euro breakfast to get coffee. Front desk said you have to go to restaurant for coffee. Parking charges per use so you pay just to pull out for dinner.

The hotel is modern with a great outlook over the surrounding area. It is also well located for the bars and restaurants in town, as it is just a short walk. However, the lack of air conditioning in the summer months could be an issue.

Good Clean and spacious room Good breakfast on 8th floor Bad Slow service No bar (closed due to "illness reasons") Have to pay in the Hotel for sauna/solarium!! shower above the bath - quite expensive hotel, you would expect a walk in shower Expensive hotel for what it is

The hotel is good, but in summer the lack of air conditioning makes it uncomfortable. Plus a bar that seems to stop welcoming guests at 10pm, and no food available from this time means if you are working late, you may miss out on a meal and relaxing drink. Breakfast is good, basic rooms are just that, basic. Paying extra gets you a fridge, which is both cold and empty. Be aware, there is no way of boiling water, so no hot drinks in your room. Checkout can be slow when busy, but staff try hard to please.

For Americans, as with any European hotel, you'll miss the AC in the summer. Crack a window - that's what everyone does. The rooms do come with a fan. The rooms are normal and fine for Europe. Frankenthal is a pretty big hub for businesses like BSAF, Siemens (soon to become Howden), etc., so for business travelers like me it's ideal. Also, there's a nice variety of restaurants to choose from - really nice ones that our colleagues took us to right in the area and also within walking distance of the hotel. Very nice!

The hotel is very clean, room convenient and location good. And personnel are all very friendly. I can recommend staying here. The niggles are small: free wi-fi too slow to be of much use, parking at hotel too expensive for the area (Euro 13/night) and attention to detial of service can be better (cleaners on occasion forgot to put towels in room, not noticing for days that soap in shower was empty, food running out at breakfast buffet, very slow to get coffee at breakfast).

Super spa - we had it all to ourselves - sauna, Jacuzzi, steam showers. Lovely hotel - modern and well appointed. Not in a highly "touristy" area, but convenient if you are driving in Germany and a little away from the "hubbub" of the big cities in this area. WE would highly recommend it.

Very clean, modern hotel. Great breakfast on th 8th floor. Convenient to Mannheim, Speyer. Whirlpool was broken.... that would have been nice to know ahead of time. I probably would have booked a cheaper hotel.

It's a place to sleep. Quiet enough. Cheap towels, bedding, soap...Don't stay on first floor-- heat from below made the room unbearable warm. I complained about that and they waived the $12 (Euro) parking fee. That was gracious.

Nice hotel. Comfy room. Cool bathtub. Nice staff with a good bar. However the internet is really slow here and they limit your downloads to a specific megabyte amount. Once you have exceeded your limit you have to go down to the desk and ask them for a new password. S why the limit? But it's free so it was a minor annoyance.
