This was our final stay on our week-long cross country trip. Having stayed in a few Best Westerns along the way, this one was by far the worst stay I’ve had in a long time. During our check in the front desk attendant took a personal call. She also refused to add my husband’s Best Western rewards number, even though all of the previous Best Westerns accommodated this request. The room had a horrible smell abs there was a huge gap between the door and the door frame. The gap was so large that you could actually see the pattern of the hallway carpet outside our room. We hung one of our jackets over it to provide some sort of privacy. The breakfast was terrible and the property feels like it needs a thorough deep clean.

The people behind the desk own the place. They look after you. Breakfast is better than most hotels. Room was dark and quiet and the refrigerator was cold. There were some bugs in our room. Not awful, but needs attention. Spoke to owner and this will be addressed. We will stay here again.

Stayed here for the Pink Concert downtown. It was a little further than we had hoped, but it was still totally fine. We ubered to and from the hotel to downtown by USC campus. It was clean, the staff were super friendly. Beds were comfy and the pillows were actually good; and 4 per bed. Medium fridge and microwave in the room which were great. The towels were a bit thin, and not much shampoo or lotion; just tiny little bit. Didn't hear anyone else in the hotel, felt safe to leave my car as well. They do serve waffles etc, but we were too late getting up to try them. Seemed clean and fine. Had coffee out all day. Easy and friendly check in. I would stay there again.

Be clear, my credit card was charged days ago and then I was denied check in when we arrived. Also your manager refused to refund my money, even though she didn't let me check it. I find it amusing that in 57 years the only hotel that has ever refused to let me check in was a Best Western. My mission now is to shift all stays with all of my employees to Holiday Inn Express and go to extraordinary lengths to 'encourage' Hotels.com and Best Western to rectify this situation. A report has been filed with my credit card provider and we will follow with a case with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the FTC early next week. This has been an extremely poor experience all the way around.

The owners were very nice to us after our original reservation somewhere else was cancelled when we were about 20 miles from them,they supposedly were double booked. We went through Expedia and we will never do that again, we would call best western directly and not mess with Expedia.

Sangita was excellent at check-in. Very helpful and polite with juggling many check ins and phone calls. She was the only one at the desk and remained friendly and calm.
