I booked this hotel at the last minute because it was close to the airport for my early morning flight. I honestly wasn’t expecting much but was extremely impressed upon arrival. The hotel is large with lots of amenities, most which I didn’t have time to explore. They have a great bar/restaurant with an open air, tropical theme right next to the pool. They were expanding the deck area next to the pool, which will be lovely when finished. The rooms were modern, clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable. The spa area looked lovely but I didn’t get to use it. As I left the next morning, I passed the breakfast buffet. If I’d know it was so large with so many good food choices, I would have gotten up earlier to enjoy it. I’d definitely recommend d this hotel and will stay here again when I visit Belize.

This was our last stop before the airport in the morning. The location was ideal for that. Dinner was fine but it took a very, very long time, even long in Belize time. The pictures of the pool online look nice but it was full of screaming kids, which is what it is, but just an FYI it was very busy by the pool. The AC really struggled and we had no hot water. We had been traveling for a month so I was a little used to lack of hot water at times by now. Yes, the shuttle was a little pricey but was happy to have it and they also picked us up at the water taxi. Overall I'd recommend and stay based on location and services.

The new elevator to the 2nd floor was convenient. The staff, rooms and meals were all great.

Yes, the fried fish dinner was great. The curry fish could be more spicy. The buffet had tasty fruits, yogurt, granola and freshly cooked eggs and waffles.

Friendly and patient staff. Food was excellent as always with a huge and delicious breakfast selection. beautiful room with the most comfortable beds ever. This is my go to hotel every time 'm not staying with family.

We had the best time a barefoot beach! The staff were friendly and helpful. The little cabana we stayed in was so clean a d very cite! The beachfront area was great with lots of seating, a bonfire every evening and Larry running the beach bar all afternoon & evening - he was amazing! Would definitely come back!

WARNING: If you make a reservation here you may get told when you arrive that they don't have a room for you after all and send you to another shady hotel across town. That's what happened to us- I made the reservation a month before, we flew in for US and it was night time and we arrived and they said sorry you're not actually staying here- it was completely bizarre, and frankly scary because I didn't know the area, didn't know where they were taking me but just had to trust them after they had already lied by letting me pay for a reservation and then giving my paid for room to someone else. THE WORST PART- the shuttle driver who took us to the other hotel told us they do this EVERY WEEK to people!! Unacceptable! And the hotel they made us stay at instead was in a random apartment building on the 4th floor above an abandoned casino- it was sketchy! This was a a HORRIBLE way to treat people who made a reservation and paid to stay at the Best Western- and the fact that this is their POLICY instead of an exception is just false advertising and felt very unsafe and unfair. Do NOT make a reservation at this hotel because they could do the same to you.

Pretty much a rough motel. Grounds are ok, restaurant was decent, pool was under construction for a new deck so minimal loungers or room for guests. Rooms smelled horrible of mostly thick mold and light sewage.

Solid for Belize City, but there was a ton of construction noise as they were renovating a room next door. The coffee shop also could not sell coffee right away in the morning as the "machines needed to warm up" so we had to skip it in our run to the airport.

Staff is very friendly, courteous, and eager to help. A few issues with the room. A.C. and safe do not work. Front desk were to send someone, but we have been gone each day.

From the shuttle driver to all the hotel staff we interacted with, everyone was very polite and provided excellent service. The hotel was very well maintained, clean and welcoming.

Highlights of this stay, the efficient pick up from the airport, convenient location to the airport, on site restaurant, and kind staff. The room was clean and satisfactory, although we recommend asking for a second floor room away from noise.

Hotel shuttle poorly organized. Was left 2 x even with confirmed times. Waited at the airport x hr prior to just taking a taxi with other guests. Tried to confirm pick up from water taxi 4x and no response through app, ended up calling and confirming but driver arrived and said he had no room for us. Contacted hotel and they said some one would be there in the next 30 min, after already waiting for 30 elected to take a cab. Hotel was clean but shuttle was very useless and annoying.
