A good location. Good food. Nice clean comfy room.

We booked a two night stay as we were going to trance in the woods. Location of the hotel is good with just a short work into the centre. My booking stated we booked a standard room however on arrival we were given an accessable room. With the windows looking out over Tesco carpark. So the curtains had to stay mostly closed. My wife liked the light in the bathroom as she said it was good for doing her makeup. However you did feel a little exposed in there. Also we had no hot water. We did bring this to the staffs attention. However we didn't have time to wait for solutions so had to boil the kettle for a wash as who actually likes a cold shower. In the evening when we returned back from the event. The manager did offer to move us or offer a room to shower in the morning and a free breakfast added onto our account. Would we book this hotel for next year? Highly unlikely.

Convenient location to train station

Less than 10 minutes walk from Derby station, good sized room, shower leaked but not significantly. Bed was firm but not horrendously so Front desk very welcoming and helpful

Very friendly helpful lad on reception when we arrived. Room clean and cosy. Breakfast most acceptable. Stop again ? Yes.

Room was small & very stuffy. Stains around room fixtures & damage to carpet. Cold bathroom. The bar was also the main reception desk. Staff were friendly though & not the worst place in Derby to get your head down for the evening.

I stayed with a group of students and we were looked after so well especially by Lauren and Amethyst Thank you 🙏

Stay was comfortable, staff was freindly and professional

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly, only thing that let it down for us was, we had no hot water during our stay.and there was noise disruption from people in the rooms near by on our first night.
