Time for a significant upgrade.

Looks great from the outside but tired in the inside. My room was quirky which was fine but the furniture and the bathroom in particular was very dated and could have done with some tlc. The food was ok - bar snacks - but seemed to be very random opening and closing times in the evening. Stunning grounds and location which partly made up for the underwhelming interior.

Room clean restaurant good though choice ltd. Staff were excellent but some waiting for the . Breakfast Was great parking goodness

All a bit run down and in need of an update

Absolutely dreadful stay at Bosworth Hotel & Spa. From the moment we arrived, the service was poor. The staff on reception were unhelpful and provided virtually no information at check-in. We had to ask where our room was, and nobody mentioned important details such as check-out times or hotel facilities. The room itself was tired, dated, dusty, and in desperate need of refurbishment. To make matters worse, we barely slept due to constant creaking, banging, and noise throughout the night. The shower pressure was laughably bad – I’ve experienced more pressure standing outside in the rain. One of the biggest frustrations was discovering that the pool and spa facilities require an additional charge. Nowhere during booking was this made clear, and it’s something guests should be informed about upfront. As for the food, it was extremely disappointing. The quality was on par with a school dinner, lacking flavour and presentation. Certainly not what you’d expect from a hotel and spa. Overall, poor service, poor facilities, poor food, and a terrible night’s sleep. We left feeling disappointed and would not return or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Building was beautiful, staff where very accommodating with my disabled fathering law needs. Really wonderful setting

The hotel is very dated. The room we were in was small, which wasn’t a problem, apart from it was stuffed full of 90’s furniture - we were literally tripping over it and each other. The door hit into the bed as we walked in, there four sets of drawers (12 drawers!), a fridge, bed (very small), tub chair and massive TV. Yes, you read that right, 12 drawers in a tiny room - who needs 12 drawers, in addition to a large hanging area?! The decor was very dated, paint and wallpaper peeling off the walls. The bathroom was tiny, dark, very tired and only a light sprinkling of water came from the shower head. The toilet needed a couple of flushes to flush toilet roll. You could hear other guests in the corridor and walking around in rooms above. There was no help offered to get our bags to the room and directions to the room were hard to understand. The windows only opened a couple of inches so I imagine in the hot weather the room would be quite uncomfortable, although I did see a portable fan in the room. There were no sockets near the mirror and no full length mirror so that wasn’t helpful. The room was clean so a positive, other than a big cobweb hanging from the ceiling. We spent our time out all day and night so we didn’t have much time in the room so we managed, but we wouldn’t stay again. It’s such a shame because it’s a beautiful building, it just needs a few million spent on it!

Room was clean,staff very helpful and friendly. Only disappointment was the food in the bar on the Saturday night. Food was warm but the 10 minute wait for cutlery was a problem. Chilli loaded chips was more like lasagna made with chips not pasta. However the desserts were really good. I would stay there again but might not eat there again.

They charge to use the pool, which I think should be made clear when booking. Whilst only £5 a time, that is quite a lot for quite a run down facility that wasn't very clean. The rooms were OK, once I swapped for a second room as they first smelt like someone had been smoking in it quite recently.

Our stay at Bosworth Hall Hotel & Spa was unfortunately far from the experience we had hoped for. Even though we only stayed for one night, that was more than enough. From the moment we checked in, there was no warm welcome or friendly greeting, which immediately made us feel unwelcome. The room itself was very disappointing—dusty, dated, and showing clear signs of neglect. The bed linen was ripped, and as a family with allergies, the dust made the room particularly unpleasant and uncomfortable. The lack of customer service continued at check-out. We were simply asked for our room number, and before the process was finished, the receptionist started serving another guest. I was left standing there and had to ask whether I was actually checked out and free to leave. It's a real shame because the hotel looks impressive when you drive up to it, creating high expectations. Unfortunately, the reality did not live up to the first impression, and overall the hotel was a significant let-down.

The hotel in general was very good. Just personally, we had a few issues Our main issue is that the hotel. It's so big with long hallways and lots of steps, considering we have a child in a Pram and lots of luggage it was so exhausting to carry everything from the car park to walk across to the hotel. And then find your room. Its hell of a long walk with steps. When we arrived, they gave us a room on the top floor with loads of steps, and the windows barely opened. So we complained and changed the room. But the problem were, the lifts wasn't working? So we had to carry the baby. The luggage and the Pram up-and-down the stairs. It was so exhausting and very, very far to walk to the car park when we were leaving I would say it's not toddler friendly, so any parents with buggies not recommended The stuff are very helpful and friendly. Everything was okay. The rooms was clean The pool was very nice, considering they close early which we wasn't impressed with it The food menu on the bar was limited I hope it helps some parents

The grandeur of the hall and the grounds were stunning, however, the rooms are in need of a refurb and are dated with a hodge podge of random furniture strewn. Do not recommend the food (Jenny's) it was not worth the money. Spa and pool facilities were excellent.

Bosworth Hall Hotel – A Three Night Adventure Bosworth Hall advertises itself as an elegant luxury spa hotel. In reality, it felt more like an episode of a budget hotel rescue show filmed in a stately home. To be fair, first impressions were promising. The building itself looks lovely from the outside and the grounds are well kept. We arrived optimistic, bags packed, ready for a relaxing half-board spa break. That optimism lasted right up until we were handed room number 229 and sent off with instructions vague enough to qualify for a treasure hunt. After wandering the endless corridors for half an hour like contestants in The Crystal Maze, we finally located our room. Calling it “compact” would be generous. It was somewhere between a single room and a storage cupboard. Very dated, very tired, and accompanied by a mysterious smell that suggested something had died behind the radiator sometime around 1997. Thankfully, after complaining, we were moved to another room which was larger and clearly an upgrade, so credit where it’s due. The hotel boasts two restaurants. What they don’t mention is that one only exists at weekends. Since we arrived midweek, our “fine dining” experience became a self-service canteen with all the ambience of a motorway service station. No table service, staff looking like they’d just finished PE, and food that was technically edible but had the charm of school dinners. Excellent all round . Very good value

Rooms are so ridiculously outdated. Broken furniture and marks everywhere. Staff not interested and barely acknowledged us it was almost like we were not good enough to stay there. Didn't ask if we wanted dinner or breakfast or even if our stay was ok on checkout. Unfriendly staff at the bar. Main areas seemed fine did not use any facilities decided against giving them any further money after the way we were treated. Beautiful from the exterior but that's about it!

Great location, rooms and views, staff friendly, breakfast was a massive let down though. Orange juice from the machine tasted off and the bacon/sausages looked and tasted cheap/leathery, if they could fix the food it'd be so much better.

lovely surroundings to walk around excellent food with plentiful supply. rooms lovely fresh & clean. often stay here for overnight stay & can only see improvements everytime we come. lovely friendly staff ...great place to stay.
