Best service staff ever. Two excellent restaurants on site. Great value for the money.

Such an amazing stay! Everyone makes you feel so welcomed every day. Everyone greets you with a smile and amazing energy! The staff was so amazing! The hotel is so beautiful! Food was delicious! We will definitely come back again.

Very comfortable room. Staff was amazing and helpful, with all our requests being met. Both restaurants (breakfast and lunch/dinner) had amazing food and excellent service. Valet parking was an added convenience. Will certainly be my “go to” hotel in Johannesburg.

The hotel is very nice. However, the staff is very inflexible. Check-in is from 3:00 PM, check-out is by 10:00 AM. I asked for a later check-out. They very rudely referred me to the regulations. They didn't give me a single extra minute.

Have a supermarket and lots of restaurants in the area.

Wonderful hotel. All staff friendly, good excellent, rooms roomy and well equipped. A great place to stay.

The room, common areas, and staff were all absolutely fantastic. We had a late flight out on our checkout day and they allowed us to pay a 1/2 day rate to check out at 6pm. We didn't sample the restaurants, but the bar makes a terrific cocktail

We had a great stay overall with great staff both at hotel and bar. However,the Sunday hotel staff was very nonchalant and seemed unbothered with assisting us with anything. Eg,we got umbrellas from the morning staff without any issue as they knew we would return/pay for them if lost but the night staff seemed to be surprised we were asking for umbrellas when we went out.the porter that evenring also was a 👎 for us. Your staff needs to know that clients will ask for help,directions,recommendations etc,in my opinion thats part of the job. We didnt feel valued by them as clients. The morning team more than made up for it though.

Just an incredible stay all round, staff were fantastic and the location was great - will def be back in the future.

I stayed at African Pride Melrose Arch from 10/23/24 - 10/28/24. This was actually my 3rd time staying at this hotel. I can honestly say it one of my favorite. Although my favorite manager (Pinkie) was not there, it still was an amazing stay. Bella, was so gracious, warm and friendly at check-in and check-out. Answered all questions that I had. The renovated Aduna Bistro was wonderful. GuGu and Andy were accommodating with seating. Q, provided phenomenal guest service while taking meal request and making sure that I was ok with the meal and not missing a beat to make sure that I was ok. As stated before, this is an awesome hotel in my opinion and will continue to be a favorite. See you nexr year African Pride Melrose Arch. - Mr. Adams

Excellent friendly staff. Beautiful hotel and quaint area

It was a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Even when staying at a hotel a quarter of the price, parking is free. And yet you have to pay for parking at the African Pride. Also, the rooms are not sound proof. You will also have to endure two hours of noise as house keeping cleans and talks in rooms around you. You can get a breakfast pack, but coffee is not included like it would have been if you went to the breakfast area in the morning.
