Great hotel for exploring the area, room was old style as was the hotel but very nice and comfortable; breakfast is extra but excellent - served in the adjoining restaurant, hotel is directly on Luisenplatz; paid parking but great for local transport connections; room was clean, spacious and comfortable

The personnel was extremely kind and available to answer any doubt I had. The ladies at the reception were always smiling. The position was great, 10 minutes away from the central station by bus or tram (always on time and frequently). Moreover, the beautiful Sansoucci Park was around the corner.

The staff are amazing! I almost don’t want to write this and create unrealistic expectations… but we had the best two nights here. Almost no check in.. just welcome and have a good stay, clean, warm rooms.. with tons of atmosphere and character.. and then when I mentioned my birthday.. a bottle of Prosecco. So friendly and chill. Perfect location on quiet square… parking on the block. Thank you… for being so friendly and making my birthday so special.

Despite being dated and well used the hotel is clean and staff very friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location for exploring the palaces/grounds as well as the city. All are walkable over cobblestones. Beds are comfy, rugs should be replaced. It’s an old building so it’s not perfect.We were given a corner room over the square, it was quite spacial . Despite being on the public street we had no problem with noise/sleeping. They provided earplugs if needed, we did not. Be sure to go into hotel before parking in garage , they have a discount pass you can use.

Fantastic hotel. Reception staff very friendly. Room was decent sized with great bathroom and welcome letter. Fan in the room was very welcome. Location is good near high st, tourist attractions and tram stop to take you to the rail station

Friendly and helpful reception staff; room was spacious and excellent. It was right next to the beautiful Potsdam Altstadt and had a lively restaurant and shopping scene. It was also next to the lovely Sansouci imperial park grounds, which was great for walking and running and sightseeing along the run. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location! My room overlooked Luisenplatz and the Brandenburger Tor. There was a weinfest going on that I didn't expect, so that was a bonus. Great wine and music. The parking was very easy. The spacious and modern garage is located directly under the main square and there's a pedestrian entrance across from the hotel. Even though I booked a small room with a twin bed, since it was just me...the room was comfortable, clean, and had a fan and other little amenities like an umbrella that I wasn't expecting. They accept pets, so I was able to bring my dog for a small fee. Check-in was earlier than some hotels. There is an elevator. Easy walk to Sans Souci Palace, down the main shopping street, and even as far as the Dutch Quarter. Plenty of dining options nearby...Chi Keng had yummy Asian food. Finally, the hotel breakfast tasted great and had a good selection. I would stay here again.

Amazing location and so close to Sanssouci. Staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly and while the breakfast buffet cost more than is typical (at least for my travels), it was definitely worth it. Elevator was a plus. The room was large, very clean, and comfortable. We had a wonderful and would highly recommend.
