Excellent location and friendly service by the staff

Room was too basic for a 4 star hotel! Not even providing mini bar or kettle. Lack of staffs at reception, turned out they are all having breakfast. Breakfast was too pricey for a very limited items, everything was cold, empty for breakfast buffet at 10:00am on Sunday when the breakfast time is until 11am.

Ein gutes Hotel für einen Kurztrip ; ruhig gelegen trotz des benachbarten Ruhr Park Einkaufszentrums und Autobahnen. Empfehlenswert Einschränkungen Es fehlt ein Safe im Zimmer Für einträgliche Zimmerreinigung muss man sich aktiv bis morgens 08:30 an der Rezeption melden. Was wenn man länger schläft? Diese Verfahrensweise finden wir sehr unpraktisch. Besser ist da das gewohnte Schild für die Tür. Natürlich muss der beauftragte Service auch später kontrollieren, ob noch Zimmer eine Reinigung wünschen.

Super comfortable beds, nice staff, close to spa. Breakfast was great, too. Only downside was that they ran out of some breakfast items an hour before breakfast was supposed to end. Long lines for coffee machine. Nice tea selection. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for one night. Everything was as it should have been: friendly (and helpful!) staff, clean room, easy check-in and check-out, plentiful parking (free). Special mention for the breakfast buffet which had a good selection and was replenished often. You know you're in good hands when you see Ronnefeldt Tea offered!

Clean property but somewhat dated. Great shower. All communication in German - not helpful for non-German travelers.

Nice hotel. A quiet location but a little noisy from a combination of poor acoustics throughout and close to a busy train track.

It provided everything we needed from a comfortable bed to a great buffet breakfast. Large car park made life easy

One Night stay. ticked all the boxes very friendly staff. if we are in that part of Germany again will definitely book again.

Liked it a lot. Lake and fields are close by to take a walk. The mall is in walking distance.

Room was OK, with reasonable bathroom. Although very high sided bath to access shower, probably not good for people with mobility issues. Our room was a double room with shared main door, although main door locks on closing, we had to lock our door with key for privacy and security. Good is your traveling with larger group but not when you only occupy one of the rooms. Breakfast was OK, but not for the price, if you have enough time do to the rhur park centre where you can have 2 breakfast for cheaper than ACHAT. Located at the end of a dark area of the park. Ok in a car, not so good if walking especially alone. Sauna, can not comment on how good this was as I never found it to be open when I checked various times of the day. So poor for sauna, could do with opening hours on the door. Overall OK to good. Good location to park centre for shopping and eating. Poor for breakfast costs and sauna never being available when I wanted a sauna

Very nice modern hotel. My room was in - I believe - a bit poorer part of the building, but still high standard. I will stay again definitely. Late open bar was a bonus too.

Our stay was very good, could not fault the room and cleanliness, my only concern was the bar person was not always about and people had a wait, this was the first two nights of our stay, and the receptionist and bar lady were more interested in playing a drinking game with a bunch of male guests!

Location is excellent and hotel very nice but internet is lousy

Overall very good hotel, though a little soulless. The big problem refers to the cost of breakfast which was 17 euros per person. Extortionate!
