Friendly, enthusiastic, helpful reception staff. Amazing breakfast with so many options. Love the location - it's in a quieter part of town but easy to access other parts of the city. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

We have had an excellent stay here at Hotel Rival. The room is very comfortable, and there are wonderful amenities. I especially like robes and slippers! The breakfast is also top notch with delicious options and a menu to order from. But what sets Hotel Rival apart from others is the exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable staff. People at the front desk, directed us where to go and how to get there, and let us work on our Swedish with them. The people at breakfast were so kind and warm. One woman even showed us how her grandmother served Swedish pancakes. Even the police officer doing security last weekend for a concert was friendly. This encouraged us to stay an extra night because the people here have made the hotel feel like a home away from home. Thanks for making this stay so special.

I feel quite fortunate to have booked our stay at Hotel Rival. The room was comfortable and very clean. The view of the park across the street was very nice. A short and pleasant walk to Old Town. The staff were amazing. Friendly and helpful. A Relaxing environment. We enjoyed the breakfast and coffee bar on the 4th floor. Finally , a shout out to Joel , thank you for the warm welcome to the hotel, city and country.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rival. It is conveniently located with the train station only a 5 minute walk from the hotel which then takes you to the City Center. it is about a 15 minute walk to the Old Town where there is a variety of restaurants and stores. There is a lovely park in front and it was wonderful to sit there and enjoy the Swedish tradition of Fika- drinking our coffee and having our pastry after a long day of exploring Stockholm. All the staff were friendly and very helpful- they truly want you to enjoy your time in their city. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and nice.

This hotel was outstanding. Important to note that it is non smoking and has great air conditioning. There is a subway stop five minutes from the hotel. The location is great. The bed was wonderful and they had a pillow menu. The front desk crew could not have been more helpful. They arranged a taxi to the airport for us. Since they knew we were leaving before breakfast they prepared ham sandwiches, oranges, and orange juice to eat in the cab on the way to the airport.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Rival! Michele and Sveda were so helpful and lovely. We stayed in the penthouse suite which had beautiful views of the park snd surrounding area and was gorgeous! The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was remarkable. Can’t say enough about how much we loved this place. Loved the history as a theater and the artwork. Highly recommend for a great stay in Stockholm!!

Wonderful hotel with comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast and bar. We loved the streets nearby with outdoor dining options. Still close to the old town and tourist hot spots - but outside proper tourist area.

From the minute we pulled up in our taxi staff came out to greet us and help with cases. All very friendly staff. Great help yourself tea, coffee, biscuit and fruit complimentary. Hotel has a lovely vibe and lovely location. Easy to walk around to see sites. breakfast in the price. Room very clean and very comfortable bedding with quality linen and quality supplies in the bathroom. You will love your stay here. Highly recommend. Chris August 2025 Australia

The Hotel Rival is truly a Stockholm gem. Our family of six loved this hotel and are still raving about it now that we're back home. I had great communication with the staff before our arrival about getting to the hotel from the airport, which was much appreciated. We arrived a little groggy after our eight-hour flight and the Hotel Rival staff couldn't have been kinder and more accommodating. Even though we were several hours before the official check-in, they were able to secure our three rooms, giving us a chance for a quick nap before we began touring wonderful Stockholm. The entire property is beautiful and the rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfasts, which are included, were absolutely delicious. There's a lovely park across the street and we were able to walk to just about every place we wanted to visit. we hated to leave, but the staff also helped us secure a large taxi for our return to the airport. Can't say enough about the Hotel Rival. One of our favorite European hotels ever! Thank you
