Property was good and staff friendly. We were disappointed because at the time of booking we were informed by website that breakfast was included but at the hotel we found this was not so. We had to pay for the breakfast.

No in-room information about what was around the hotel. The restaurant was very expensive...$3.00 + tax for a coffee.

The hotel itself was good...in and out. My issue is there were no USB ports anywhere in room and there was no clock in room. TV remote didn't work. The staff was excellent. The room was clean.

We stayed in a pet friendly room. Hotels don’t understand not all dogs are well trained so the carpet stinks probably from dogs that pee that are territorial .really wish they had laminate flooring and they should not designate one room pet friendly .. trained dogs don’t make a mess and those that do should not be allowed to stay but if there was laminate flooring you can clean it better than carpet. I suspect some even lift their leg on the corner of the mattress. The beding seemed fresh and clean and the bathroom but if it doesn’t smell pleasant and decor is tired you question the cleanliness. Back entrance where we entered to room 139 is dirty ..didn’t want to touch the door handles … it definitely needs to be updated as do most hotels in orillia .. front desk staff is lovely … a really nice young man. That’s the bonus ..

Room accommodation met our needs- clean, decent size, comfortable beds, working fridge and microwave. Ground floor room with easy access to outdoors for our pet. Note no direct outdoor access from any of the rooms. Check in was great- able to get in early which was very much appreciated and front desk staff were very accommodating.

The staff at this property are amazing. Nice, helpful and seem to genuinely want to ensure that you have a nice stay!

Stayed 1 night only and did not use any of the hotel's amenities. Nevertheless, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant Portage) and were very pleasantly surprised with both the quality and menu choices of appetizers, mains etc. as well as the friendly and attentive service.

Clean rooms and washrooms but for the price, breakfast should have been included.

Didnt enjoy my stay at all over priced for the cleanliness of my suite dust all over things kitchenette was not wiped down from previous occupants, bedding had hair on it, bathroom wasnt very clean “a quick wipe” is likely all that is done, i feel like the bedding isnt washed just remade the bed and called it good likely slept in previous occupants sex juices, will not stay at another best western plus.

Location was good for attending events to Rama

Nice big room. We had a king sized bed and a fireplace. The bed squeaked quite a bit whenever we moved which wasn't great but it was a comfortable bed. It seemed clean. The young man at the front desk was very helpful and nice. We ate breakfast in the newly reopened restaurant and the food and service was really good. An omelet for me and eggs Benedict for my boyfriend. They even had gluten free bread. I would come back.

The staff are lovely and helpful. Beds are a little lumpy but comfortable enough. We stayed for 3 nights and would have appreciated a mid stay refresh of our room.

Rome was clean and comfy. Quiet hotel

If you're looking for bougie this is not the place for you but if you're willing to lower 5 star hotel standards, this is a decent place to stay. Donna was very helpful at front desk and the restaurant had fantastic food but it was warm and sticky and the prices were a bit too high. All and all decent and I'd stay again.

Had problems with toilet. Hotel didn't even have a mop and bucket and a plunger.
