Room was clean and close to to main strip. We saw a bear in the parking lot!! The creek side was nice as well. Shower pressure was excellent and the beds were very comfortable. The A/C worked very well. Would definitely recommend. Friendly staff.

We really enjoyed the close proximity of this motel to top notch restaurants, and the creek was beautiful and serene. The breakfast was great, and the pool was clean. There was a great park area behind the pet friendly rooms that was ideal for walking our pet. However, It was extremely difficult communicating with the hotel housekeeping staff. Their limited English created a difficult situation. After I had told them that we were fine and didn't need anything, they still knocked on our door & interrupted my daughter while she was on an important work-related conference call. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The mold on the ceiling in room and bathroom. Also on the lamp shades. We were exhausted. Went to sleep and woke up to see it. My partner he was sick after and we cut our trip short. We had stayed here before and this was not an issue. Very disappointed as I thought we had found our place to stay when we came to Tennessee

Somehow I was booked at the Hilltop building which is up a super steep hill. With limited mobility, super hot temperatures and high humidity, and an evening of drinking in Gatlinburg…the walk back up to the room was challenging. I wish I had known beforehand and I would’ve changed my reservation. I had made plans to walk next door to a coffee shop and a brewery but I was thinking I was staying at the other side of the property. We had to get back into traffic to fight our way over to the Hilltop building. Yes there was a balcony but the view was just looking over the air conditioning units of other buildings. The bed was uncomfortable. My back was sore both mornings.

“Premium” WiFi absolutely does not work, hence the WiFi based tv also doesn’t work. Desk staff claimed that it was because of the “rain”. Two days of sunshine and useless/non-funcrional Wi-Fi!

The location was amazing. However, we were placed in a seperate bldg with no view of downtown. In order to access any of the hotel amenities we had to walk several blocks to the main Hotel.

We did not stayed at this hotel, we had to look for a nicer hotel. Because we have 2 pets, we were offered a room next to the pool, the room wasn't nice at all, it was in very poor condition, we aske for a new room to be showed to us, and it was better but it did not fill up our expectatios, It looked nothing like the pictures. Then we decided to go to another hotel.

Sadly I never could get into the room - I was sent 3 times to the 3rd floor as the key would not register to the door. You ask why I didn’t take the elevator? It was out of order. A theme surrounded the property. Check in building the glass doors were busted and a wet mop sign was in front of it. Several patrons as well had the same issue with their cards. I was told to “wait” on maintenance. As I sat for the hour they never showed. I finally got a hold of the 3rd party service to get my charges refunded. The property told me directly they would not. Don’t waste your time here.

We will definitely be back the next time we visit the Smoky Mountains. The property is clean, super inexpensive and the staff were really nice and accommodating. Understand that this is an older hotel, but it has a lot of vintage vacation charm. It’s like something from the 1980’s. The beds were comfortable and the water was hot. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge, which was very useful. We stopped at Aldi in Pigeon Forge and stocked up on bread, cheese and drinks to offset the high prices of everything in town. The breakfast was good and there’s a nice little park directly behind the hotel. Although there is no jacuzzi, it was hot enough that we enjoyed the pool.

The hotel is on the main street of downtown. Perfectly walkable and no need for a car unless you plan on doing activities off the mountian.

Most of the rooms are on a hill that cannot be walked. Elevator was out of service, none of this was mentioned on the website before reservations management would not work with us on refunding both nights, even though I was unable to walk the hill. DO NOT STAY HERE! You will be sorry! Book the rooms they Expedia and Expedia was able to get one night refunded but not the other. I’m done.

When we got to our room the bedding was dirty there was mold on the skirt of the beds. Mold on ceiling. And the room stunk so bad. My husband finally found the smell it was behind the fridge. It was old produce and fruit. It was green and molded. It was horrible. They did finally give us another room. After I showed them pictures.
