It was ok I had a ok time

Whenever I visit Michigan I always stay at this location.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Although you have to ask for housekeeping, they came in and did great job. I enjoyed my King suite. The bed was soft n comfy. I would've liked a more firm pillow, but that was not a major issue. I had an amazing week there. The hotel is very close to freeways and there's several good restaurants nearby.

The room was much larger than what i expected (very good!)

We stayed at SpringHill Suites in Southfield, MI from May 28–31. Despite being longtime loyal Marriott guests, this was by far our worst hotel experience. On our final night, we were surrounded by large groups of unsupervised guests in neighboring rooms and overhead, creating constant noise well past midnight. Despite reporting the issue to the front desk twice, it was not resolved. One staff member even stated she was alone and couldn’t help, while security stood by without intervening. After 2:00 AM, we were moved to another room. The disturbance continued outdoors, with yelling and shouting late into the night. The next morning, we returned to our original room to pack and encountered evidence of substances and concerning items left in the hallway. The room itself was in poor condition: a tipping mattress, broken phone, faulty bathroom fan, and a poorly placed TV blocking the window. We were also placed in an accessibility room, which was not appropriate for our needs. This experience raised serious concerns about safety, supervision, and maintenance. We do not plan to return and hope the hotel takes meaningful steps to improve.

Too many kids running in the hallway and they played on my door loud the whole weekend

Need do more cleaning in rooms have bad odors in hallways clean carpet or something I had went brought spray and sprayed still smell bad

My go to hotel when i visit the Detroit area.

Building under renovation and signs on building are missing, was hard to find. They need a tall 50 ft. Sign out front so you can see it from tHey 10.

I liked my room except the wall was cracked in the shower near the soap caddy, The breakfast was good and my room was nice and clean. It took a minute for someone to greet me upon arrival but other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

The staff was great, breakfast was very good (hot & fresh) the general look and condition was good…but the staff just needs to do some general inspections (rounding) of the whole facility. Just so many little things that could easily be addressed that would have turned this review into an easy 5 Star. We had to change rooms right away because our thermostat was bad, the chrome trim ring around the shower head had slid down to the shower head leaving a exposed whole in the wall, the show down handle was loose, the right end of our headboard was coming off the wall, the hot tub was cooler than the swimming pool…and just a lot of similar ‘little things’. Easy repairs that could be addressed if the staff would just do ‘walk-throughs’ of the facility and just address these kinds of things…

Stay was good and the staff was friendly.
