Stayed 2 nights, loved everything. The check in, guy took us to our room..the room, beautiful, spotlessly clean, room 34 perfect. Parking on site...fantastic. Walk into town about 10 mins, so easy. Great view of River Avon and Cathedral from deck. Can't recommend this place enough...do stay there.

Staff were very friendly. Complementary drinks vouchers and also a complementary shuttle bus to and from town were fantastic touches. It’s a shame they don’t offer food in the evening. Lovely location, great setting with the cathedral in the background

Very exceptional stay at Riverside. Lovely big room, well heated and very comfortable. Beautiful view from the bar terrace and lovely staff. We were told our breakfast was included mistakenly, however the hotel allowed us to have coffee and tea. Highly recommend!

We upgraded to the Grasmere room for a bit extra cost. Fabulous uninterrupted views over the river to the cathedral.superbly comfortable bed. Conrollable heating and windows that open. Complete peace and privacy- Perfect staff throughout. A coutesy shuttle bus to town We recommend this hotel!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in

Second time stay at hotel. Again, not disappointed. Staff friendly, nice surroundings, easy pleasant walk to town centre.

Our stay at The Riverside was superb. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. We were given a local map and advice on enjoying our visit to Salisbury. The location was excellent, a 15 minute delightful walk to the Cathedral and the main town. This enabled us to have dinner in the town and then walk back past the Cathedral. We thoroughly recommend a stay at The Riverside, you will not be disappointed!

This hotel is in a wonderful location and is so beautiful outside and in. There was Christmas Functions on but the hotel was still quiet. Friendly staff and so helpful

Lovely room with amazing view of the river and Cathedral. Very comfortable bed and very clean. Not far from town centre. Would definitely stay again. Customer service was fab too!

Staff did a magnificent job of an impossible task. Mgmnt accepted a too big reception booking. When, as hotel guests, my guests and I arrived, it was chaos in the car park... and there really isn't anywhere else to park. (It's on a busy bypass outside town). Very disappointing. Cost me and guests time we'd intended for seeing town. Was surprised we couldn't dine in the hotel. It was a cold damp night. They did provide a very good (free) shuttle to town, though.

We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was beautifully and tastefully decorated with really interesting prints and historical artefacts. The view from our room over the flood fields and to the cathedral were breathtaking. Breakfast provided hot and cold options, with fresh coffee and eggs as requested. Although there was no dinner service, the hotel provided a free shuttle (or taxi) into town and back so you can enjoy many of the dining options in town. The bar is open in the evenings with a friendly service and wide range of cocktails and alcohol options. The staff are super friendly and happy to help with any queries. Our two night stay was a delight and with ample free parking and a short walk into town, we will happily stay again.

Our second time staying at the Riverside hotel and again it was such a comfortable and pleasant stay. The friendly staff are wonderful and always available. The free shuttle into Salisbury town centre is a great service

It was wonderful. The room and grounds were beautiful. There was a shuttle that took us into town so we didn’t have to worry about driving at night after enjoying the pub. Staff was extremely polite and helpful.
