A bit outdated but otherwise great place to stay: one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on, spacious room, big soft towels and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

While the hotel was very clean snd service was top notch, i used $229 in Onekeycash credits to pay it but then the hotel charged me $296 after i left the hotel. Do essentially i paid for stay twice. Very disappointing

The hotel and room both good with balcony overlooking a pretty pond and the race track. Food was disappointing. Very much thrown at us in the evening. Breakfast was a poor selection and very limited, not what one would expect from 5 star hotel Staff were generally pleasant at reception etc. ,

Pau is a small town, and this property is outstanding for its location. Great hotel conditions, on top of great staff and food. The staff did their best with transportation, which is difficult for the region and city, and might require some planning for guests.

Newer hotel and spa.. Very very well maintained. GREAT front of the house staff.5 star... In the hotel is an excellent gourmet restaurant plus a very good bar with a lighter fare. A bit of a walk to town but a great choice overall. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for three nights to celebrate our Sapphire Wedding Anniversary. The hotel is five stars and you can see why as everything from check-in to check-out was absolutely first class. The hotel was really well managed especially with regards to the strict observance of isolation for the COVID-19 Virus. Everything was clearly and professionally signposted and even the beautiful Spa and Pool were restricted to pre-bookings for certain times and for a limited number of people (8 Max). We dined in the hotel and found the food drink and service to be excellent. The room we booked was extremely spacious and well appointed and quite luxurious. There was a massive bed and large bathroom with a big deep Bath and a large separate shower Cubicle. We had a large balcony with furniture and with an amazing view across the park to the wonderful snow capped Pyrenees. It wasn’t cheap but it was worth every penny. A classy, comfortable and safe Hotel that fully deserves it five stars.

This is a true gem of a hotel. I cannot say enough good things about it. It’s is modern and gracious. The rooms are calm and cool, with the most efficient and quiet AC I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Just the right temperature, no sensation of blowing. This was very important, as our stay coincided with a terrible heat wave. The decor is serene and unfussy. Service in the room is perfect and at least twice daily. Everything worked perfectly. We had a tub and a shower. The shower had a rain head and a handheld, fixed at chest level, so it was easy to freshen up from the heat without getting your hair wet. There is an espresso maker, a small minibar selection, and paper cups as well as a china set. Water (gratis) is refreshed daily. There is a small fridge. The only problem with our room was the lack of drawers. There are only two, they are in the closet, and very small. But the closet space is enormous. We had a deluxe king with a balcony over the park. A lily pond is below, and frogs are busy all night. We like the sound, and left our patio door cracked open to enjoy them. There is very little traffic, especially at night. By walking across the park and to your right there are many interesting and vibrant neighborhoods within a mile. We walked everywhere. If you walk straight through the Park, past the Palais Beaumont, the promenade will take you directly to the castle. Views of the Pyrénées the whole way. Breakfast here is decent, but overpriced (26 euros).
