I very much enjoyed my stay at The Fleet. The staff were the soul of cordiality—so helpful and friendly. Room and bed very comfortable. Good breakfast buffet with a lot of options for vegetarians—fruit and porridge and pancakes and cereals and almond milk. I did mention to the manager the lack of veggie sausages and he said, “We’ll have some for you tomorrow.” And for an added bonus, there is a Tesco right across the street. The location is absolutely prime--Aircoach drops you at O’Connell Bridge stop and then it’s just a few minutes walk south from the Liffey to the hotel on Fleet Street. In fact, everything is walkable from this location. Just south of the hotel is the impressive Bank of Ireland and then Grafton St., down to St. Stephens’s Green; then while you’re in the area, the historic Shelbourne Hotel is right there. Nearby is the National Library and National Museum of Ireland. The Fleet is in the Temple Bar area and it's just a short walk from there to Dublin Castle, Christ’s Church Cathedral, and the St. Patrick’s Cathedral. And Trinity College is just a 2 minute stroll from the hotel. The Tara Street DART station is also just a few minutes away, and you can take the train down the coast to Dun Laoghaire, Dalkey and Killiney. My favorite part of the the hotel was the lounge area—it is small and cosy with soothing lights and full of comfortable chairs and sofas and two little fireplaces. I hope to stay there again on my next trip to Ireland.

My fiance and i stayed here for two nights, and although the location was good, and the staff were very friendly I had a horrible time here and was very happy to leave. First and most importantly were the pillows. Not even minutes into laying on the pillows trying to sleep we both couldnt find any way to comfortably lay on them. It felt like laying on a folded bath towel. We both emptied the pillowcases and stuffed them full of our sweatshirts and jackets and we were finally able to sleep. The next day we took the bus to her mother’s house to get real pillows. Second was the tv, half of the buttons on the remote just dont work, the tv had a netflix button but no netflix app and no way to download it. Youtube wouldnt load movies, and the channel selection was extremely poor. Another thing was the mattress was very firm and hurt my back when if i tried to sleep on my back, if youre used to a memory foam or soft mattress this will feel pretty awful. Lastly at night your key card doesnt work at the front door, even though there is a keycard scanner. You have to ring the call button and wait for a bouncer to come check your ID and find you on their list of guests. Pretty annoying you cant just leave and come back to your hotel at your own accord. Overall the pillows were just so incredibly uncomfortable that i can’t recommend anyone to stay here until they change them. Literally any 10€ pillow from home store and more would be much more comfortable.

My partner and I were visiting family for the Easter break, and thought a night in Dublin would be fun. We chose The Fleet for its great location and luxury look. It really is in the middle of everything, and you can walk to most places. Parking is tricky, but there is a car park opposite that I recommend you pre-book on popular holidays. The reception we received was excellent and a great reflection of the 4-star standard. The lounge area and bar are beautiful and such a dramatic change to the hustle and bustle of the street. We had a street-facing room, but it was completely soundproofed, and you didn't hear anything from the noisy street. We had a slight issue with the barman (lack of etiquette and just needs more training) when we wanted an evening drink, but when we reported it the next day, it was very professionally resolved, and we would go back to this hotel. Overall, we were very happy. The hotel is beautiful in a great location, and the staff are amazing. Well done!!

This was a nice, quiet hotel in the heart of Temple Bar. Very convenient access to everything and a nice quiet lobby sitting area with two small fireplaces that were a relaxing place to recharge and reorganize. Very convenient to Dublin Express stops and overall an enjoyable stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel renovated bathroom but didn’t pay attention to details such as toilet seat doesn’t fit the toilet and the sink is shallow with short faucet (hard to wash hands without splattering water on clothes). It’s the little things but overall I’m still happy with my stay.

We enjoyed staying at the Fleet. It was very noisy however. With no AC in the room, we had to keep the windows open for a breeze. The Fleet is at the head of the Temple Bar street and it was terribly noisy on Sunday night! Drunks, people cussing and shouting and bottles and cans being thrown or kicked around. The room was nice enough, however there were hairs in the bathtub (not from us) and that grosses me out. I don’t want to stay in a room that wasn’t cleaned from the last folks. Overall, I give the hotel and everything a 4.

Fleet hotel is at the end of Temple Bar, our room was quiet. Has a small but nice bar in lobby and a restaurant on property. Only negative it’s hard to navigate interior floors with luggage. If mobility is a problem request a room that the elevator goes directly to.

A fabulous sanctuary in the heart of the action. Relaxing, beautifully maintained and comfortable. We were able to leave bags when we arrived early and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again and look forward to it.

Extremely convenient to Trinity (our purpose for being in town). But for super jet lagged travelers- ask for a high up floor. The pub goers outside our window (2nd floor) sounded like they were in the room with us. Definitely not sound proof. Lovely breakfast buffet
