Very disappointing. Check in was closed from noon to 2PM (seriously ?) when we arrived. Rooms are very basic. No pool. No air con and we were there on a very hot day. Too bad. The building is gorgeous but needs a serious overhaul,

Very nice rustic building, a little dated but as you would expect, very good value for money and clean. A little out of town so would be quite a decent walk but there is a bus you can catch nearby

The door lock in room 28 did not work properly. We spent 15 minutes in complete darkness trying to unlock and lock the door. We called a receptionist. She was really upset and unfriendly.

Three retired adults stayed in Aix En Provence on the last 2 nights of a 2 week vacation in France before flying back to Canada from Marseille Provence airport. The hotel location was chosen for this reason and is more accessible by car than by walking. Parking is available in a well landscaped yard. The hotel is a repurposed infirmary that is several hundred years old. Our unit opened at grade level and had an outdoor patio with table and chairs. The bathroom had a combination tub & shower. The kitchenette had a microwave, bar fridge, hot plate, toaster, sink, dishes and utensils. The queen size bed on the main floor was comfortable. The double bed on the mezzanine level was also comfortable.

Outdated, bathroom was smelling very bad, staff was not helpful, we were told we had to write before our arrival in order to get a baby crib but there was no indications of any sort when we made the booking. Overall, very disapointing.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. Love it being a heritage building it also has plenty of parking and in walkable distance from the centre of Aix.

Quiet place with very well done, nice and clean rooms. Basic amenities but enough for a family.

This is a great location if you want to be close to Aix and not deal with the congestion and noise of being right in town. It is a short drive into town and also very well located to motorways if you plan to do some driving in the region. There is plenty of parking and easy access. I stayed in a ground floor studio that had a lovely outdoor table in a garden setting that was perfect for breakfast or an afternoon drink before heading into town for dinner. I recommend it.

Even though we booked for a room of four, they have reserved a room for two! But thanks to the hotel director it was solved quickly with an addition of a room. The reception working hours are very limited (for late night or for noon), not very customer focused. But overall the staff was very supportive.

Hotel was basic but fine, rooms clean and good size. Located of town but there is a bus that comes right outside the hotel which is very convenient.

We arrived too late for reception due to missed train. Reception said they wd email us an entry code but did not. Eventually we got the code and from then on the hotel and staff were first rate. Especially the handsome and kind young receptionist, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was the best part of our stay. We loved the kittens in the grounds too. We will stay there again.
