Though some of the employees at this hotel were very nice and professional—particularly the evening front desk staff who were welcoming and accommodating—my overall experience was disappointing due to a few rude and unprofessional individuals, especially the morning staff on Friday.
I raised a concern about the excessive noise from being placed directly in front of both the elevator and ice machine. When I spoke to the manager (I believe her name was Caroline), she initially claimed there were no available rooms to move me. Only after I mentioned checking out did she suddenly find a room on the backside of the hotel, closer to the street and parking lot.
What made matters worse was that when I returned to the front desk, Caroline and another staff member seemed to think the situation was a joke. Their dismissive attitude was incredibly unprofessional and left a bad impression. It’s disappointing to be treated like an inconvenience rather than a guest.
This stay could have been much more pleasant if the morning management team took guest concerns seriously and acted with the same level of professionalism as the evening staff.
