No restaurant so a bit disappointed

Clean, good service, cute older property that has been remodelled. Traffic noise is loud. Our room was small, but they do have bigger and nicer rooms that would be more appropriate.

Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds. The train woke us up once at 7am and another time at 6am, but not a big deal. We actually slept really well. Using the luggage cart was tricky because of all the stairs in random places. Parking was difficult one night, but the lady at the desk helped us find a spot. Enjoyed our stay.

Clean bed, some signs of tv hanger changed on wall. Budget friendly quieter part of town while still being able to walk dt Nelson. the 1 train that went through 7AM which is less often than lower mainland therefore NOT a disruption at all for me Fair rm for light travel, stayed 1 night. Note; limited parking space not suited for larger truck or trailers however potential arrangements with walmart next door.

Beautiful view of Elephant Mountain! Lakeside Park right out the door as is Chaka Mika Mall, Safeway etc Perfect location

Friendly and helpful staff. Room a bit noisy but overall okay.

We liked that it was a walkable location to down town and lakefront and dog friendly. Staff were great. Room was very small but clean. Had the fan on all night and didnt notice any trains but there is a railway nearby. Just the basics but that is all we needed /were looking for.

The room was ok if you like staying in a closet! Learning about the trains going by during the night, AFTER we checked was not great! There wasnt any information on the room about restaurants or entertainment on town! Overall the stay was ok but not planning to stay there again!

Good location with walking access to lake, restaurants and shopping area

Room was dirty and bathroom was dirty and poorly cleaned.

We arrived late yet still got treated super nice, the place was amazing, yes of course the train passes but oh well they have ear covers for it but i personally didnt mind. the view is just right down to the lake, i was on second floor and i really recommend it. Definitely going to stop there again if we are travelling.

The staff were very nice. The room was smelly and the carpet was disgusting. The bathroom had black mold around the soap holder and the walls and light switches were dirty. The bed was good. It needs a good clean and the carpet removed. The location was good.

Aweful room, filthy, dirty clothes in the bed, food in the fridge, rude staff and overall worst exeperince in a hotel

Nice stay with some rooms offering small balconies and views of the lake. Small kitchen was a nice addition. Comfortable bed but a small bathroom. The hotel offers few amenities, however, ameneties at its sister hotel nearby are available to use. We would stay here again as it is close to a large lakeside park and walking trails.

Overall very excellent room and staff. The only drawback is the parking is tight and even getting back out onto the streets can be a bit tricky depending on the traffic flow. Besides that I would definitely recommend this property for sure.

Small, convenient, comfortable hotel. Lovely front desk staff and a great location. The only downside is the window A/C which clicks on and off all night to maintain certain temp. And there is a VERY loud train that goes by under the window. But overall we slept well and would def go back.
