7 min easy driving to the Avignon city center. Provided plenty of parking spot. The property is clean, luminous with relaxed atmosphere. Receptionist was very friendly. The room was crispy clean, nice bedding. AC worked really well. Only minus point was a room layout. We stayed in Classic room with 2 twin beds. The shower room section was not completely divided (toilet was separated). Only with a curtain. So that the sound and light bother someone stays in bed. Also the steam goes to the bed section. Even though we liked our stay here. Definitely we come back if we're here.

Beautiful property with a lot of lovely features, however Mercure needs to decide whether this is a hotel or a restaurant/bar. Two of three nights of our stay we were kept awake by partygoers below. The restaurant workers were quite unhelpful when we went down to complain in person and basically did nothing On a separate note, locking your AC at 25 c is unacceptable in a four star hotel. We spent more than 3 weeks travellling through France and this was only hotel who did that

The hotel is very modern, clean and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They call for taxi service as well. The room was good size, clean, comfortable bed. The shower and sink area is separated from the room by a curtain, which is unusual, the toilet is separate. It is common for European hotels. The room has a balcony, kitchenette with dishes and a microwave as well as a fridge. The outstanding breakfast buffet was included. The restaurant Gustaves in the hotel is very famous in Avignon and of very high quality. We were happy with delicious lunches and dinners. The hotel is located walking distance from TGV station and 2 miles from downtown, with the relatable taxi service and Uber it is pleasant to stay in that pretty quiet area for a good sleep. Nice swimming pool.

The hotel is well maintained and staff are helpful. The environment is relaxing. However, for lunch we waited over an hour for our mains with no acknowledgement or reason given in a restaurant that was not busy. Our room had the distinct smell from the kitchen a few floors below.

Modern and elegant

The service level of the staff was exceptional. Food was very tasty. Beautiful property. Rooms were quiet and even though my room was across from the elevator did not hear any noise. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. They only had a washing gel, unlike most hotels that have a variety of products. Disappointed that the outdoor pool was not open until noon on the day of check out. When I had asked at check in they confirmed it was closed with no date given to reopen. I would have appreciated a communication about it opening. Did not use the spa services.

The reception welcome and in particular Raphael. He is outstanding and deserves high recognition. He makes a huge difference to your hotel and needs retaining.

From the moment you enter you can feel the attention to detail in the decor and styling. The reception staff were lovely and the room was large, modern, well appointed and very comfortable. Very nice toiletries, too. The bathroom was separated with a curtain rather than a door, which was unexpected, but it did a good job of keeping the steam in when showering. We chose the hotel for its proximity to the station and were glad we did - it was only around a 10 minute walk or so. Highly recommend this hotel if you're catching an early train.

This newer hotel is very near the Avignon TGV train station, but not much else. There may be bus service into the Old Town (“inside the wall”), but we didn’t have easy information about it so we took Bolt ride shares into town for dining, etc. Restaurant is average for food quality and the staff were all very kind and hard-working, but seemed overly stretched and understaffed. Rooms were tight and sort of minimalist but adequate.

Very nice Hotel convent for the TGV

Very modern, clean and safe, only convenient for Avignon TGV, nothing nearby, no restaurants, shops, sites or entertainment nearby. Suggest hotel offers a shuttle service between hotel and Avignon TGV.

Great friend enjoy staff and a lovely hotel to stay in. Great easy parking so would definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Avignon when driving.

Lack of tea and coffee in room. Also whilst I appreciate we are in France maybe 1 or 2 English speaking TV channels could be considered. Your hotel is not alone all others stayed in only provided 1 at best and that being BBC. Restaurant menu limited

The bus to the old town is right on the front of the hotel, very convenient.

A pleasant surprise…cheerful staff, fun bar and dining area. We didn’t feel like going out for dinner, so enjoyed the entrecôte and swordfish, well prepared, at the hotel.
