Our room was lovely, clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast exceeded my expectations and the location is great! Highly recommend!

This is q beautiful classical hotel right in the center of towns. The room was very big - 30 square meters - and comfortable. But it was outdated and somewhat shabby. The hallway was dark. The breakfast was adequate but there could have been more choices. The staff was friendly.

The hotel was beautiful, perfectly located and Bilyana was the most caring and helpful host! We’d recommend the hotel to everyone!

I like the hotel, because it has a lovely old worldly feel to it, it is very comfortable, lovely lge bed and a pleasant atmosphere all round. Also rooms are quite and lovely and warm.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly, convenient to shops and my favourite restaurant is across the road. Rooms massive and luxurious. Bed very comfortable. My most favourite hotel in Varna. I have booked two more stays.

The downtown location of this hotel was its greatest asset. Plus the free breakfast. The reception desk staff was also friendly. Other than that, we were not impressed. Very surprised that this hotel is rated as 5 Stars. The bed mattress was extremely hard, old and uncomfortable; the bathroom door frame was rotting from lack of humidity control; we were supplied with only one towel per person each day; several tiles in the bathroom were cracked; and although the furniture was baroque style and supposed to appear old, it was truly OLD. The hallways did have lovely decor, however, the elevator door wouldn’t open or close properly during our entire stay and although we told the staff it was a danger to guests, they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Perhaps we would return only for the location and free breakfast.

Great old fashioned hotel if that’s what you like (which we did). The room was super large almost a suite, breakfast from a menu outstanding.

Wonderful old world Grand Hotel in the centre of Varna that is convenient for restaurants, etc. 5/10 minutes walk form railway station

Very old hotel at very good location. Very central location, close to main pedestrian street. Paid parking on site. The room was outdated,breakfast very poor. Staff was friendly. Bed( mattress) was terrible
