Close to city centre.Clean and comfortable

Didn't receive text message for instruction to get into room. Waited in cold until staff arrived who was very rude and unapologetic

Unfortunately the room was extremely cold as the heater didn’t work very well & also only one side of the electric blanket worked. It was a very cold night in Ballarat also.

For when you just need a bed, this motel is central and affordable. It’s clean and looks like they are doing upgrades. Out of hours check in was super easy - PIN number sent to your phone for the door lock and straight in. Heater was on and of course the electric blanket was required for Ballarat. The cars hooning outside didn’t bother me once I was asleep.

Would not stay there again, overpriced for what we had. Room was smelly and grotty, stained carpet and curtains. Reception closed for entire weekend.

Were there for 3 nights, reception closed for 3 days!! One of our keys did not work phoned the number on reception door was told he would not be coming in and to use the pass number!! Carpets on stair ripped which is a tripping hazard, very unwelcoming and unfriendly environment. Would not recommend.

It looks really good from outside and spacious. However, I would have given 0 for cleanliness. Carpets have never been steam cleaned and soles of our feet were black from dirty carpets. Chairs and sofa were unsafe to sit as they were broken.

Without a smart phone we would have not got in. A reception without reception! Had to ring a contact. Room clean and reasonable condition. Exterior was grubby. Have booked another hotel for our featuring journey.

Place was ok for the price, bit dated and furniture damaged, bathroom was very clean so that was a bonus!

The bed was too soft, we prefer a very firm mattress.

Very spacious room, lovely big bed, very clean and a generous amount of coffee and tea provided, would definitely recommend and a great price.

The only comment I would make is that the car parks are not wide enough for two SUV type vehicles to park together.

The check in staff were very helpful and great to have a laundry.

Liked the set out of the rooms well stocked bonus courtyard Handy position. A fair bit of rubbish in the back parking area too be fair it was windy. Parking bays a bit tight.

I don’t even know where to begin with how disastrous my stay was at this establishment. I had specifically booked a room with two queen beds and a kitchenette, but upon arrival, I found that the room had been swapped without any prior notice. When I arrived around 3:30 pm, reception was completely unmanned. I was left stranded, making countless phone calls over the course of 25 minutes before finally reaching someone. Even then, they gave me the incorrect door code twice, further wasting my time and patience. When I finally got through to the person on the phone, they had the audacity to suggest canceling my reservation, despite me having just driven 700 kilometers to get there. After insisting I needed my room, I was given a room that was entirely different from what I had booked. Instead of the two queen beds I had reserved, the room contained a single bed and a king bed. There was no proper kitchenette—just a microwave and a toaster, which made it impossible to cook. As a result, I had to eat out, which cost me significantly more than expected. To make matters worse, the bathtub/hot tub was completely inoperable because the faucet was missing, and the room itself was clearly not cleaned properly. Adding insult to injury, the pool area was shut down without any prior notice, which was one of the reasons I had chosen this location. Other guests staying at the property were also complaining. They reported having no hot water, and plumbers were stomping around late into th
