great services always constantly offering help

The staff was fantastic. The hotel is a little older but kept well. My only gripe about this hotel is the app. You have to make dinner reservations on this app and nothing was available to book which was super frustrating. The app is buggy and crashes often. We were lucky to be able to waitlist for most of the dinners. It seemed like they didn't have a ton of staff members for dinner service since there were a lot of empty tables but we were told no more space. Entertainment was actually really great! I never expect much, but they have really talented dancers and entertainers. We also went over 4th of July weekend, they did such an amazing job. They went all out! We also used their spa service which was great as well. I can't stress how great the staff was. Thank you for a great time.

The resort advertises having four restaurants, but in reality they only have only one as they do not offer reservations despite having available tables in any of those restaurants. They instruct guests to reserve tables through an app, but the app consistently malfunctions and shows errors. During our four-day stay, we tried multiple ways to secure a reservation, including speaking with the manager. Unfortunately, the manager was rude and unhelpful, stating she could not assist us and this is what it is. As a result, we were only able to eat at the buffet for the entire duration of our stay. We have been staying in many resorts in Cancun and this one by far has been the worst.

Great resort , super family friendly , stuff very nice and helpful . The buffet food could be a bit better , but other than that they keep you entertained, everything’s clean and safe .

Staff wasn’t as attentive and friendly as I expected. Food is subpar, alcohol the same. For a quick trip it’s not bad, but I wouldn’t stay again.

Staff were very nice and friendly. Very easy to book activities within the resort with transportation. We loved our stay, would definitely recommend!

Love this resort!

Check in- the two young people guy and girl, they didn’t explain only handed the keys. Housekeeping- made a lot of noise when cleaning the two rooms next to ours. Talking loud, laughing. Dropping stuff, moving chairs and beds. It was 8:00 am and it was nonstop noise for two hours. The servers at the buffet were wonderful. The guy the makes the pizzas simply wonderful and great customer service.

1st all inclusive i’ve been to. seemed like they had the basics down- drinks, snacks, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body lotion. solid place. the food was hit or miss, but I’m picky and have some sensory issues such as texture of things, so keep that in mind. got my first professional massage ever and the lady got a knot out that i’ve been trying to get out for months in the 25 min service (extra, pay at checkout), it was exquisite. staff is open to help with whatever was needed, and they did what they could. the servers at the buffet are kind

We had an amazing time as we always do at the Solaris. The staff is amazing and friendly. My little guy had the time of his life. definitely has an array of food. My son could live at the pizza bar. I can’t wait for the other restaurants to open back up as well.

Overall not a 5 star resort, negatives include rude staffing, i stayed 7 nights and 4 days they closed the only available bar by the pool area, outside bars only open from 11-6pm and often they cater to their vip or members. The restaurants are near impossible to book due to them prioritizing their members and never have availability to dine at the restaurants, beach was extremely dirty even when they charge you a fee for environmental and beach cleaning per day. Food was very similar every day and quality was very poor, ice screams were very hard and old. The beds and pillows were extremely hard and AC was poor. Bartenders did everything they could to not serve good quality drinks, they only offered dos x or sol as the beer options. The only positive were Chino the house keeper, and from the entertainment group Julio was very helpful and always wanting everyone to have fun, i also enjoyed the service from the server by the name of Angel. Besides them it seemed that everyone else would only be attentive or care to help if you would tip them before the service. I do not recommend the resort as it will not offer the best experience you can obtain out of Cancun, i have visited a Riu in Cancun and my experience was excellent completely opposite from GR Solaris.

Our family enjoyed staying at the GR Solaris, this one is a smaller hotel than we are used to but we totally loved it! food was great! We loved the brick oven pizza by the pool! And also loved the deli with the gourmet coffee and sandwiches open all day! Buffet had so much to pick from and specialty restaurants were great but a little hard to get reservations, we could only try the Italian and the Mexican restaurants. Bonnie at the front desk was great! Bar service needed more attention specially with drinks at the beach Please tip these hard working people! Our only complaint is there wasn’t a lot of shows or entertainment at night. Beach was great very clean and enjoyable! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property! Staff was friendly

The staff was welcoming. Room was very clean and had plenty drink. The only downfall was that the dining and entertainment options were limited. Would still recommend. Great for kids.

There was a huge construction area in the facility next door with extensive noise and debris all over so obviously the views were disturbing with all the construction workers and dust all over. I will never stayed in this hotel specially traveling with kids. Hotel staff was friendly but unfortunately food wasn’t good.

This is a place I don’t ever recommend, terrible service from day 1, don’t recommend

Great service, cleanliness, entertainment, food, and maid service. Property grounds are small but still great and all restaurants are nit open every day
