My husband and son stayed here 2 weeks ago and had a great experience. I booked it for myself as I was helping my son move in to Austin. Daniel, the manager, was very nice upon checking in. He gave me his card and asked me to contact him if I had any issues. Daniel mentioned a wedding was happening the next day (Sunday) and that the main dining room would be closed. I asked if my son and I could have breakfast the next morning, he said the smaller dining room would be open. The next morning, at 8 am, the entire lobby and both dining rooms were crammed with wedding guests. I asked the very unfriendly receptionist if there was room for my son and I to eat, she said, only outside. Well, it was a very chilly morning. So we ate elsewhere. The night before, I had brought a bottle of wine to the room and had a glass, and placed it corked on the side with my personal items. After a long day of moving in, I returned to the hotel and the wine was gone. I called the front desk, another very unfriendly and unprofessional receptionist, and he said the cleaning service probably threw it away. I said, well it was with my personal belongings. I asked if he could bring one glass of wine to my room. He said he would have to reach out to management to ask. I didn't hear back for over an hour, so I called back down.
