Portland was a little sketchier than I thought. The place was very satisfactory and the room was clean. The breakfast was excellent and had a good variety of fresh products to grab and go or sit and eat.

What a cool older place in Portland ME. Hotel stays are super expensive during the summer peak season. We found this gem that was walking distance to downtown. Had a nice continental breakfast. Staff was super polite and friendly. Only couple of drawbacks, no elevator and parking is tight and limited (however they do not charge for parking). Would go back in a heartbeat.

Property itself is very unique inside and outside. I didnt like to share washroom with someone else as we didnt have it inside the room. Location is fine as long as you have a car. Otherwise its a poor area and must watch out if you plan walking around.

We really liked our stay here; everything was very clean and the staff was nice. You should realize though that this is a very old building. The update and remodeling is great! However, it has narrow stairs and no elevator. That did not bother us, and I highly recommend the place, but if are expecting a modern building's amenities, you will be disappointed. Embrace the charm of the vintage vibe! Also, i highly recommend the bar/cafe next door, Bread and Olive....absolutely first rate and laid back.

Everything was good with the Inn, we didn’t go anywhere local except across the street and next door.

Hotel with lots of charm but we were on the 3rd floor and had to carry luggage up three flights narrow stairs.

I loved how open it was to congress street and how much was available to us by just walking.

Very nice and convenient place to stay in portland for a few days, clean rooms and staff was friendly, and tv in the room was a bonus. Only thing I didn’t enjoy about my stay was the inconsistent water temperature and very small showers. Was very hard to just have consistent warm water in the bathroom near my room, as it was either insanely hot or insanely cold and taking a shower like that was almost impossible and very uncomfortable.

The Inn was so cute and was much better than expected. We chose a small room with a full bed and a shared bathroom . We were on the 3rd floor walk up . No elevator . We knew exactly what we were signing up for . Our room was great . The hotel layout was so quirky and we just loved all the stairs . We had a shared bathroom right across from our room yet we never saw another person using it . Nice bathroom and shower . They had coffee , tea and snacks 24/7 and a lovely continental breakfast . The parking area was small so we were given a pass to park down the block . We chose this place so we could walk to Thompson’s point for a show . It was a super easy walk . Thank you for a wonderful stay . Our only regret was we didn’t get to enjoy the hotel more since we arrived kinda late , went to a show and left early .
