Very olde worlde - Dutch colonial feel. The staff were extremely friendly, efficient and helpful - especially Lionel and Shane (both should be commended). Central location and short long walks easily available.

Cute central hotel for stellenbosch. The staff were just so warm, friendly and kind; made us feel very welcome. The hotel has history and is in a good location if you want to be central to the bars, restaurants and shops. A tad dated; ready for a refresh, but very clean and perfectly comfortable; slept well. Would stay here again.

I have stayed at this perfect accommodation on three previous occasions for good reasons. These include the staff who continue to be charming, obliging and competent, the beautiful building and location in Stellenbosch, and the gourmet breakfasts. Having traveled extensively, it’s apparent that this hotel is a global gem and my entire family now benefit from staying there whenever we come to Stellenbosch.

For the price, you can't beat this place. Staff is very attentive, both administrative and cleaning staff. The location is perfectly situated in central stellenbosch next to all of the great restaurants the town has to offer. Not to mention their buffet breakfast is amazing. I would definitely stay here again.
