Charmant.

Instead of a room in the Chateau Hotel I was allocated a stand alone cabin in the grounds, which was OK but drab and not what I booked. The cabin plain-pied was clean but initially very cold on entry. Shower head was broken. Parking outside was a positive feature. OK for a night and the room was clean and tidy, bathroom was clean and functional, but it was not a Chateau Hotel. It was a cabin. The restaurant however was charming downstairs in the cellar/cave and the food was good and not overly expensive. Service was fine. Wines were good. I would dine there again independently if I was local or in the area. I would hesitate to stay again.

Room is far away and pathetic and breakfast was awful with no options at all. You need to walk to the reception almost half a km to get breakfast everyday and that too with no options. Bathroom door was creaking and water is damn expensive. Only the night reception guy knew the hospitality and he was sincere.

Lovely from the outside. Unfortunately it’s looking quite tired inside but was clean. Very comfy bed. No aircon but we were suppled with an electric fan. Receptionist spoke good English. The area feels quite rough with lots of social housing very nearby.

Interesting, quirky property set in large grounds. Room comfortable enough for our 1 night pit-stop on the way south. Staff friendly & efficient. The restaurant 192 in the cellar was fantastic - great atmosphere & the food was delicious!

This is a quiet chateau with simple gardens. It has rooms in the Chatteau and the Orangery. We stayed in the Orangery. The room was a fair size and quite well appointed. The bathroom had been renovated to a good modern standard. The place was efficiently run. We had an excellent meal in the 109 restaurant in the cellar. Great space and great service. Overall this was a good stopover for us.

This place was OK, we stayed one night. It's old, obviously, and it has great historic value, it just felt a bit tired, somewhere where you put your old furniture when you don't know what to do with it. The staff where lovely, friendly and very attentive. Dinner was had outside as the sun set, the food was nice, a little forgetful. We thought of dining downstairs in the wine cellar however there was no one else there so we ate outside. Don't expect aircon etc or interior design. However as a trip back in time it was OK and as mentioned the staff were very friendly. Plenty of safe parking and relatively good value.

Loved the idea of staying in an old Chateau. The public spaces are lovely but the room I was in was a bit tired and could use a little spiffing up.

Interesting locality but set in grounds making ut a quier location. A good restaurant on site. Do not expect modern, this is shabby chic in a 19th century country house.

Main house had great character in a shabby chic way. Nice grounds. Restaurant excellent and food exceptionally good. But we were in the Orangerie, a modern building. When booking you were not told that you would not be in the chateau. Room OK but bathroom very old fashioned . Two of the three lights in the bedroom did not work .The light between the bathroom and the bedroom didi not work. There was no safe. No air conditioning.

Bit of a curates egg. Lovely looking building in beautiful parkland setting. Very neutral welcome. Watched us carry bags up the flights of stairs without any offer of help. Our room on second floor reasonable but nothing like the ones shown on Hotels.com website. These I think must be first floor rooms. Hotel quiet so those rooms would have been available. No bar and lounge unappealing. Did not try the restaurant on this occasion. Dogs not allowed in Chateau bedrooms but in the lounge and restaurant.
