Location is excellent! Plenty of great restaurants very close by. Private dock for ease of water taxis and gondolas. Bar is great and rooms are fantastic. Excellent breakfast and arrive is second to none!!!

Staff was very courteous and helpful. The continental breakfast was just beautiful. Every kind of delicious food imaginable. What a spread! Beautiful property.

We took the water taxi and it was quick and easy. The hotel\nStaff was extremely friendly, and very helpful. The breakfast was extremely good and a wide variety of options.

From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and give a personal escort to our room where we were shown all the amenities. The room is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The only negative was the extra firm mattress. I did not sleep well due to this. I had to use their two complimentary robes to layer on the mattress and still it was not comfortable. The staff was truly incredible! So helpful to answer all our questions. The location on the canal was beautiful and easy to walk to sightsee. I can’t say enough positive things about the staff. Breakfast was delicious. By booking through Expedia we gained a free water taxi and tour to Murano and Burano. The downstairs bartender was so kind and his drinks were very well made. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Luxury!!!! Set right on the grand canal with its own dedicated dock. These guys help you coordinate your entire Venetian experience. Excellent communication before and during our stay. The staff are so attentive. We are still dreaming of the bells from St Marks and the sounds of the water from our windows. Perfect in every way! Oh and the breakfast buffet is heavenly.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful city with a very caring and professional staff! I will definitely stay there again on a return visit!

The breakfast was delicious. The staff were very kind and helpful! The rooms were clean and well maintained.

I was underwhelmed at my stay at this hotel. In short it was fine, but it lacked the charm I thought it would have based on other reviews and pictures. I appreciated that this hotel was situated away from the action and was within waking distance to all the main attractions. Unfortunately it is also located next to a public taxi stop so you can hear boats coming in at all hours. The quality of the breakfast was average at best and served in a very dull room. The hotel itself felt dated but clean and well maintained. The rooms we selected were large and had canal views as promised. The sound proofing wasn't great, fortunately the room next to mine was my family. The hotel is primarily accessible via water taxi and arriving this way is charming. The hotel staff were nice and friendly. Overall, we wanted to experience being at a hotel with a Canal view so this was a good, but not great option.

I believe it to be the best hotel in Venice. Located in San Marco about 30 seconds from the water boat and 10 minute walk to Rialto and 15 minute walk to St Marks Basilica and Doge Palace.

We stayed here 3 years ago, and did not hesitate to stay here a second time. Hotel is on the Grand Canal with private boat dock directly in front. There is a line A Vaporetto stop 20 metres away. Line A goes to the station via Rialto, and to St Mark's Square in the opposite direction. Boats are every 12 mins. Our room was above the canal to the side of the hotel, and it was a little noisy with service boats accessing this area early in the morning, but this was part of the atmosphere. Our room was spacious, with a clean and well appointed bathroom. Breakfast is the usual European fare, in a small dining area, but the food was fresh and tasty. There is a very pleasant bar area serving drinks and coffe, plus a sitting area with an open fireplace. There is an outside sitting area where you can sit and enjoy a coffee or drink while overlooking the grand canal. Great place for a romantic stay in Venice.
