First of all I would like to highlight that the staff members at the reception and restaurant were lovely and helpful so this review is not a reflection on them. Now, the bedroom was spacious and the balcony had a good view of the adult pool. What I found disappointing was the first night we was told “wifi is slow” the hotel wifi did not work at all for the five days being there. Luckily I had the option to add on data but that shouldn’t be the case. The fridge was terrible, it would be “on” but it does not keep anything cold. The blow drier in my room did not work either so my hair had to air dry so bare that in mind if you like swimming. The spa is expensive for what you get. The hot tub the bubbles sting your eyes, the sauna was not hot at all barely worked. I recommend you go to the spa on weekdays so you only pay €10 each instead of €20 each. I also think the spa facilities should be included in the hotel stay. There was an incident there where there seemed to be a mini fire where police and fire brigades were there and we couldn’t enter the hotel for a while. After it had been cleared up no one gave us an explanation of what happened or an apology for the inconvenience. Since then the fire alarm kept on going off during our stay at multiple occasions. Overall you don’t have to book the 4* side there’s not much of a difference in my opinion. It was an experience as I mentioned at the start nice staff but too many things were off about the room.

We booked it as an all inclusive but there was things there that we still had to pay for if we wanted like certain drinks and food out of hours of the sittings they provided us. The food on the buffet was not all that good so it made us go out and pay for better quality. If i go back i would see if there was a room only option as we ate out everytime and 2 out of 3 of the drinks we ordered we had to pay for.

The Luna Club was nice enough overall. Our room was small but clean and looked like the pictures. The pool looked nice and they also had fitness classes and music every night. They have bicycles to rent but the place a block away was half the price so went there. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant. Dinner and breakfast buffets were included which was convenient. The fruits and vegetables were very good. Oddly at dinner drinks (even water) were not included. At breakfast the coffee machine made horrible coffee but at the bar upstairs the bartender made excellent coffee-so it was worth paying for it. The children really enjoyed Malgrat de Mar-it has kind of a party atmosphere and tons of European tourists and all inclusive resorts. The old part of town is cute and the beach is beautiful and not as crowded as some places but I found the hotel zone a little tacky personally. But it was interesting to walk around at night and quite happening.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The Club has slightly larger rooms and overlooks a quiet garden with a warm pool in the basement. The non club side is through the other side of reception (the pool separates the all access areas) and is situated over the bar and basement restaurant. The food is good, a bit samey, but better than other all included hotels I've stayed in. I will say that Malgret has some lovely restaurants... There are many relaxation and activity classes on throughout the week and you can partake in early morning Chinese style stretches followed by tai chi or yoga and finish your day with a Japanese tea ceremony or water aerobics if you wished. The activity leader is a guy called Miguel and he was excellent. He really made the holiday for me as we did complete many of his sessions. I would certainly return to this hotel. It is set on the second strip back from the main road, but this gives an aura of peace, and unlike many other hotels it is fully hedged and walled to maintain privacy.

The stay was overall very fine. I was though surprise that I had to pay for security box.Pay for matress each day and there were not enough solarium for all guests as this is a 4 star hotel. There should also be specific area for the people/guests taht smoke as they were smoking everywere at the bar at the pool!!! The food was good but the were so much noice at the restaurant it would have been much nicer if it could be more quiet.

Me and my daughter stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time from the moment we checked in. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent and the hotel was very clean. A good choice of food available at breakfast and dinner.

This is a 3 star and 4 star hotel. There is two separate buildings. Guests should check the rates as the same food and all facilities are available to both; although worth paying extra for the four star. Food is very good, lots of choice. The staff are lovely and helpful. It is located a few mins walk from main street so is quiet at night. Would recommend the hotel.

The Hotel Luna Club (4-star) and Hotel Luna Park (3-star) are opposite wings of the same complex with shared facilities, so the pool is extremely busy and geting a sun lounger after 8am is unlikely/impossible! The buffet is therefore also very busy, although the standard of food was good and there was a wide choice. The gym is small and most of the equipment is broken, although there are bicycles available which you can take out for the day. However, we would not rate Hotel Luna Club as 4-stars (more like 3-stars), given that we had to pay extra for a kettle in the room, and also a cot, despite specifying that we were travelling with an infant in the booking. In a true 4-star hotel, I would not expect any additional charges for using these items. At the least, these extra charges should have been highlighted in advance. Finally, the air conditioning in our room did not work properly throughout the stay, though we may have been unlucky, and as the hotel was at full capacity, we coud not change rooms.

Rekommenderar.
