Oh dear, I'm sure this could be a very nice hotel. Rather sad and disappointing from the bath which felt like it may break, odd taps on the sink, tired furnishings, patched. Everything seemed thin, curtains (which didn't quite keep out the light), the handwash, the toilet paper, the bath. The room although dated was clean, the staff were nice. The place could be lovely.

The bathroom was dirty. I have emailed the hotel with photos Shower very hot or cold. You got in the shower and as you went towards the plug area we thought the bath was going to collapse Breakfast those who had wristbands got served before us and we waited for at least 5 to 10 minutes to be asked what we wanted. Bedroom door would not open properly! I emailed hotel of my complaints and received quite a rude email back and offered 10% refund of accommodation costs which I wasn't emailing to receive discount just wanted them to know taboit the cleanliness and way we were treated at the hotel for their future customer service

Quite run down, bathroom had mould and when you stood in the shower then bottom of the bath flexed so you thought it was going to give way. Food in the restaurant isn't great, it's ok if you really don't want to go out but there are some lovely much better places within walking distance which are also significantly cheaper, the prices in the hotel are, in my view, excessive. Generally the staff were lovely but that isn't enough to entice us back unfortunately. It needs some serious TLC and if it gets that it'll be amazing as it's in a lovely location.

Second time I’ve stayed here, and will keep coming back. The food is very good, rooms are clean and peaceful, and the staff are genuinely excellent. The property is tired around the edges but efforts are being made and the staff and location more than make up for this.

it's what's you pay for, i didn't have the breakfast as last time i had to complain. The carpets in my room were really worn out, pretty dated, tv didn't work like usual, but apart from that yeah it's alright it did what it needed to do

I’ve stayed here previously, and I make allowances for the quirky layout, but this time my room was unacceptably bad. The windows (room at ground floor level) cannot be secured shut. The wall-mounted TV was dangerously loose and falling off. I reported these issues and was offered another room, which I declined as I had settled in to my room - but then in the morning the electric shower could only produce a cold dribble, with ‘low pressure’ warning light on. That room was not fit to rent out to customers! The restaurant food and service was good, as usual.

i want to personally thank katy the staff on reception she has made me feel absolutely so welfome she is a lovely lady. i will definitely be staying again!

Our stay was spoiled by excessively noisy and drunken local ( probably ) mature layabouts male and femail who had no regard for other travellers. Why the hotel did not refuse to serve them the all inclusive drinks I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND. The evening meal was a disaster and one dish was too salty to eat and was eventually replaced with a strange warm salad dish, which was presumably an invention of the chef. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

We had to ask to move rooms, as there was a noisy fan (or similar) running outside the window. Room change was effected quickly and without any fuss

Staff helpful. The room was poor - electric shower, toilet seat broken, towel radiator not working, oil filled heater (assume radiator not working), decor very old with patches for repairs. Probably the worst value for money hotel that we have ever stayed at :-(

The single room was too small and "tired". There was no sound insulation between rooms. I could hear people in the next room talking into the early hours. Over priced for what was offered Nice breakfast.

Room carpet had not been hoovered, bedside cabinet had sticky rings on it.
