Nice hotel, an older building with a more modern extension. Professional friendly and service oriented staff everywhere. We just had an anniversary night away and thoroughly enjoyed it. Dinner was excellent and well served and waited on. Our bedroom wasn’t air conditioned and that would have been a bonus as it was in the 30s outside, however the fan in the room was a life saver. Other rooms do have aircon so it’s worth asking.

Excellent check in and brief overview of the hotel and key areas. Good sized room and bathroom. Restaurant was fine, menu a little limited but the steak was good. Breakfast cooked to order and great quality. Staff at breakfast very pleasant. Didn’t use the Spa as I didn’t have time but it looked busy. Overall a great one night stay for the money and will definitely be back.

High standard rooms with lavish furnishings Pool and spa open before breakfast which I appreciate. Good choice at brekky, served at table. Lovely grounds and ponds.

Everything from start to finish was superb. The welcome was happy and polite with even a little tour of the facilities. Not sure if we got an upgrade but the room (28) was massive with a jacuzzi bath and was very clean. Breakfast was lovely. Didn't have any treatments but used the facilities and can't fault it in any way. Would definitely recommend this place.

A very comfortable stay in a clean, spacious, beautifully furnished room. Super comfy bed, great bathroom facilities and A/C option. Full English cooked breakfast, coffee, tea and juices. Staff are so pleasant, helpful and polite. Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings, plenty of parking too.

The location and property is beautiful and would highly recommend the restaurant. The staff where very kind and caring. The only comment is that property has a kids playground but looks like haven't been maintained for years. Unsafe and not clean. It's such a shame as it had all the right things to be great for children. Would have been great for it to be cleaned and a bench for patents. That would have given 5 starts on all.

The hot tub was warm enough, but the pool with the jets on the side. When they are activated the chlorine was very strong and made our eyes sting.

Room was basic but clean. Staff helpful. Decent breakfast. Pool quite small and limited poolside chairs. Sauna room small. Jacuzzi was big and good pressure. Lakes restsurant had limited choice for vegetarian and no chicken or lamb dishes. Nothing nearby and the closest place to dine is Faversham.

This was my second time visiting Hempstead Hotel and I was so glad to have returned. The welcome from staff is always lovely and very clean. My room was a wonderful size which was immaculate throughout. The bottled water is always nice to have along with ample biscuits, tea and coffee. I like to go out to the cinema which is only an eight minute drive. The breakfast was wonderful; smoked salmon and scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. I didn't feel rushed and gladly took my time to saourr every delightful moment. I visited the gym and sauna which were clean and tidy throughout. The extra bonas of the stay for me is that you really can make a full weekend of it as check-in at 3pm but you can arrive at any point of the day you are staying to use their amenities and the following day check-out is at 11am, but again, you can stay until 5pm!! Delightful stay and so reasonably priced. I shall vary much look forward to my stay again in the near future!

We had the loveliest stay in this hotel, the staff were so welcoming and the spa was amazing! Also would highly recommend booking into the Lakes Restaurant during your stay, great food for a really good value and our server (Faith I think her name was) was fabulous! We would definitely be back :)
