The position of the Ramada Hotel is excellent, the staff very obliging and helpful, close to all shops and amenities. When making a booking, I found it difficult to find the hotel phone number so booked through Expedia, which was a bit confusing as the rooms with water views were supposedly booked out. When we booked in at the hotel we asked for an upgrade to water views and were instantly transferred into a room with water views for a small upgrade price. The only complaint we had was that our apartment shared an entrance with another room eg: 509 and 510. When 509 was accessed the 2 access doors slammed loudly even though they had an automatic door closer, which was a bit off putting. Besides that our stay was very enjoyable and would certainly recommend the Remada for a pleasant stay in Ballina.

We live the river view rooms. Had a bit of a hiccup and they sorted it out.

We stayed in a one bedroom riverview apartment with a lovely view. It was very spacious, with doors to close off the bedroom, handy with our 6-month-olds naps. Great facilities to make our stay more comfortable, including a coffee machine and washing machine / dryer (shared with on other apartment). A spacious balcony as well. What stood out to me was the staff here. From reception volunteering suggestions on where to eat on a public holiday, to the cleaners promptly responding to an accident when our baby was ill during the night and bringing fresh linen, all of the staff seemed happy to help. We'd stay again.

It is in a good location easy to walk to the shops. Mattress and pillows need to be changed. Not the best. I completely agree with no smoking rooms but guests should not be exiled to standing in the street or at a loading dock especially late at night. There should be a proper place to accommodate the guests and staff.

Would definitely stay there again. The restaurant was very expensive and the service didnt match their prices.

Have stayed here before and it is a great location with comfortable beds and great internet and chrome cast options . The only slight issue I had was that I had a Riverview room which was a great view to the river but the balcony area was shady and cool and very echoey! Noise from neighbours tended to reverberate on the river side . Apart from that small issue , I will be staying here again , just choosing the pool side . Great to have parking in the building too

Great view, peaceful, quiet.

Tranquility

Aircon felt wet and mould. If I left the balcony window open the room would fill with kitchen smells. Not good 😞
